rinzaugustine: One of my cousins was a big financier at Enugu and even sponsored many trips to shiloh with his own money after many years but when it was his turn to become a pastor of that branch, he was bypassed and a Yoruba man without experience was brought from Ibadan to take that position. My mumu cousin said it was the will of God because nothing blinds many Igbo people like religion. I never saw it as anything before but tinubu is now opening our eyes to learn how this tribalism works When you give, your right hand shouldnt know what the left is doing, so that your imaginary cousin gave in the hope of leading and looting the church. |

Xisnin: Why attend a programe of a church that you claim is tribalistic? How does that make sense to you?
I understand it is very hard keeping up with multiple lies and identities. You forgot your previous fake membership/attendance when you needed to launch a new unrelated attack.

Politics › Re: Tax Bills: Why Lagos Is The Biggest Loser – Presidential Committee by CodeTemplarr: 4:12am On Jan 08, 2025 |
smallsmall: Naah, you are wrong.
Tax on Consumption simply means (in its simplest terms), that it is those who Consume Something, that will pay such tax on it. If you dont consume it, you are not concerned or affected by such Tax. VAT is a Consumption Tax.
Example: If l drink (Consume) Beer, the VAT on Beer, say "10% of Price), will be added to the price l pay for buying/consuming the Beer. Whatever the "Product or Service" is, it is those who consume it (Consumption), that would pay the Tax on it. If you dont consume such Products or Service, there is no way such tax can be passed unto you or enforced on you. It is always a Tax paid by the final Consumer
But strangely, each stage of Consumption of the Product/Service, adds this tax to the sales Price, which l think is Criminal, it is only the final consumer that should pay Consumption Tax. The tax a producer with factory in Lagos pays to the govt is from what is made after selling the goods to the wholesaler. If the other states feel cheated for not getting paid for what their locals buy from outside, they can either attract more industries or tax the distributors within their states for the portion of the total value added to the final goods comsumed therein. |

AndroBlaze: Its only an economic illiterate that would not realise that Lagos and Rivers will lose in the short term once this Tinubu tax bill is implemented.
However, its only an economic and historical illiterate again that will not recognise that Lagos will recover, collect taxes better and at the end of the day be better off once a bill like this is implemented.
This is one of the first steps to true federalism and autonomy and this is why smart people in the south support this and the Lazy leaders of the North (who have all the population on paper and are logically suppose to gain from taxes on consumption) are having sleepless nights.
Lazy leaders that cannot stand accountability but can eat from other peoples sweat. There is nothing like tax on consumption from a consumer's perspective. It makes no sense to pay your customer for patronizing you(what the northern governor are implying). They patronized you to enjoy your service and not to be a stakeholder in your growth or cause they love you as a producer or renderer of service. Consumption tax concept is named like that to reflect that it goes with what is consumed from all of what was produced. |
