The government is all about the people and they need Fubara, not you far away in Abuja.

PoliticsRe: Direct Payment Of Allocation To Councils Begins Next Month by CodeTemplarr: 9:55am On Dec 30, 2024
Correct. Imagine Kaduna where they corner all the funds at state level and use it for one religion yet there are constituencies where the other religion dominates councils. This puts the money within the councils and bypasses the looting structure presen at state level.

Exactly. Even though it is about 2 months old now(the news), the chances of her achieving same within Nigeria is almost nonexistent.

The loan the incompetent Tinubu government are misappropriating, looting and diverting to their bank accounts ...no positive impact of the loans on nigerians and the country Nigeria ..it's a pity
very apt. No positive impact because their focus is on fanciful structures that no one can deny and they can confortably justify a wide looting margin with.

PoliticsIs Consumption Tax For The Consumer Or The Host of The Producer? by CodeTemplarr(op):
Is consumption tax suppose to go towards a consumer or the host of the producer?

Think of it, the host of the producer and the producer are the ones who need to be incentivised to keep production, which is the bedrock of any economic system, going. The logic of those demanding consumption tax be based on who consumes what, originates from cries about those who reject alcohol consumption but accept its taxes. The host to the producer and the producer are the ones who between themselves sacrificed and toiled to add value to raw inputs. Such sacrifices include loss of land, culture, pollution and degradation of environment, security to producers and off-takers of finished goods.

The consumer is already enjoying what he is paying for 100% as long as he or she agrees to buy and consume, so needs no additional incentive to keep consuming. Nobody buys things to support the producer but to meet their own personal needs and i see no sensible explanation for paying your customer when it was your customer who covered the cost of production and your own profit in the first place.

APC reducing the value of everything it comes into contact with. Even Tinubu was assumed to be be a genius, but APC has proven it wrong. Nigeria will surely survive and overcome APC in the most dramatic way.
Those in charge are nothing but cataclysmic clowns. They have abandoned production and are depending on taxation + money printing.

Difference between Victor and the religious conmen is basic goodness and compassion. You think the scamming sons of bitches called pastors or reverends or whatever are capable of that? If they were, they wouldn’t be scamming sons of bitches in the first place.

Why would they buy the people tricycles when they need those same people perpetually desperate and pliable for fleecing?

Forget religion being an inherently good thing. It’s just a tool of control since time immemorial and is often bad.
You are christlike too go and do the money miracle and have it. Stop using 10% as excuse for why 90% is grossly inadequate.

PoliticsRe: VAT : The North Should Not Panic by CodeTemplarr: 9:07pm On Dec 28, 2024
Bandirao:
VAT. The North should not panic.

For example, take the daily business of our of animals.

Stop selling them cows, chickens or goats to any southern state for meat. Cut them from your states and package them and charge VAT

In Lagos alone, about 3000 cows are eaten daily, 100 percent of which come from the north.

A mature cow's meat weighs 250 kg, and each 1 kg is sold for ₦7500 (₦525 VAT).

If you multiply ₦525 of beef per cow (250kg) that is ₦131,250 VAT per cow.

If you multiply the amount of what is used in Lagos that will generate ₦393,750,000 daily.

The total VAT received every day in Lagos alone (₦393,750,000) number of days in a year (365) will give us 'one hundred and forty-three billion, seven hundred and eighteen million, seven hundred and fifty thousand' (₦143,718,750,000 ).

This is only meat and only in Lagos other things like rice, vegetables and even onions are not mentioned.

The north is better than it seems. If we choose not to be lazy that is up to us, but we can do better.
The intestines, legs, head and bones dont go for N7,500 a KG. Stop sweetening things to sell a point. They should embrace productive lifestyle. The FG gives over a N1Tr assistance to the farmers(largely northerners) yearly. That too can be cut off by the south through unrest in SS.
