He said these gestures would be done in collaboration with the Petroleum Technology Development Fund PTDF, National Information Development Agency NITDA, NELFUND, Zenith Bank, and Brisco among others.
He commended President Bola Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to education and youth development, as demonstrated by his groundbreaking achievements in the education sector.
Asefon said: “To further celebrate excellence in education, the following awards and recognitions have been approved for this year 2024 through my office in collaboration with Petroleum Technology Development fund PTDF, National Information Development Agency NITDA, NELFUND, Zenith Bank, Brisco among others, to be announced on Wednesday 20th November 2024 at Merit House Maitama Abuja, the venue for this year’s International Students’ Day celebration:

Mynd44: It isn't a big deal though. Night just mean the gubernatorial candidates are not popular.
It even happens in the same election cycle, APC lost Ebonyi at the presidential election but won the gubernatorial election
PDP lost presidential election in Enugu but won the gubernatorial election, same with Oyo.
Heck APC lost the presidential election in Edo but won 2 senate seats there LP isnt so structured unlike PDP and APC that have a good war chest to carry people along. |

Anither563: It's a lie that middle class has been completely wiped out. That is the problem with most Nigerians, they don't understand that the middle class is not a fixed number of people, it's a socio economic status that people can move in and out of. The middle class is not entirely wiped out in Nigeria, it's just that some people have moved down to the lower class due to the economic reforms that are gradually being implemented. God bless Nigeria for ever! more appropriately put, the middle class has been completely shifted into another class. |

“Even our sons and daughters who have brought factories many of them here in Kano and northern Nigeria and even banks, somehow, they are forced to take their headquarters to Lagos because taxes will now have to go to Lagos.”
The above is clearly not true. Dangote BUA and other Kano heavyweight businessmen chose Lagos as their business headquarters on their own long before Lagos boys got power. |

The problem is our corrupt leaders at so many levels. You have a clear case of conflict of interest a long as same set of people are tasked with importing refined crude, supplying crude to local refineries and managing local refineries. They have the key to endless state resource and power to stiffle any alternative so i wonder where the checks and balances in oil industry comes from. |

yarimo: It's business anyone that can import should do so , isn't that simple? If dangote products is more cheaper nobody will import anything If Dangote product is expensive, let them say it ans back it up with the figures involved. It could be a case of selling crude above intl market price to dangote and dangote selling a corresponding high price of refined crude. |

Holding on to seized territories is not fair in anyway and a recipe for more chaos accross the globe. By going into Ukraine to seize any region within Ukraine where Rus ethnic groups are residing, he is recognising the Ukrainian regions from within the Russian constitution and laws. That's absurd to say the least. Even if the Ukrainian Rus must be reunited with those in Russia as they like to claim, it shouldn't force non-Rus within Ukraine into Russia. There are Yorubas in Benin Brasil and Togo. There are Hausas in Niger, Mali and Benin. There are French people in Belgium and Switzerland There are Germans in Austria
There will be chaos when bigger countries start assuming a supreme ethnic group and trying to rearrange other countries based on where members of such ethnic groups are found. |
