Politics › Re: Fuel Imports Surge To 71% As Marketers Ditch Local Refineries by CodeTemplarr: 9:36am On Aug 04, 2025 |
professsorPABX: Tinubu, this is highly unacceptable. From 2022 to May 2023 we fought spiritually and mentally to bring this Government to power, you must do something now. Give PMS and AGO importers a 4 or 5 months IMPORT BAN notice. From November 30th or December 31st of this year, there should be no more PMS, AGO and Aviation fuel importation.
This notice is to enable the importers close the deals they had with their overseas Refineries. It will also enable DANGOTE Refineries and other local refineries scale-up their facilities and storage tanks with PMS and AGO that can meet local demand if their refineries should develop fault during the Importation BAN period Monopoly to Dangote and one or two modular refiners around. Bad idea. Import should be pegged at around 25% local consumption volume and increased if found favourble or decreased if otherwise. |

themanderon: I guess this region is not under the purview of the DSS and military intelligence. This nation is cooked. deeply cooked. Same jihadi elements are all over the southern forests and have gone silent for now. They are being branded as lesser than terrorists while getting pampered by sacrificing army men as cheap target to prop up their reputation as vicious, unstoppable destroyers that must be negotiated with. |

The model of islamic terrorists/jihadists across Africa is unmistakable. From Del Gado, Mozambique to Eastern DRC. They go for the bag and fund a well oiled jihadi campaign. |

The best way to enforce a fair energy tax on all and on a pay-as-you-use basis. But this is counter productive for the the masses expecting promised alternatives like CNG. Govt wants revenue so wont take CNG seriously in order not to reduce what comes in via petrol and diesel tax.
Yekini never thought the subsidy is gone for good statement through. |

If Osun is rigged, on the other hand, it can be attributed to tribal affiliations or bigotry. Election hijacking is all about laying good groundwork to suppoŕt the malpractice and help rationalize it away. That's how Atiku too will clinch party ticket with dollars. |
