@negga4al u were not clear enough, i thought infinix tool and sp flash tool are the same. Ok i should use infinix tool for flashing anything and sp flash tool for readback.

i install marshmallow via recovery i guess thats why it want me to update again.

What exactly are u trying to do? Root? If so, then use Infinix tool, somehow, SP Flash tool sometimes go AWOL if you don't know how to use it or use the right files.

Also, u needn't remove your battery just switch your phone off after you hit the download button, then plug in your phone till it shows the OK pop up. Infinix tool is quite straightforward.

Please, let me know if you intend to root or something else.

so infinix has their own tool. I want to flash recovery enabler and recovery b4 i install systemless root.

which phone are you using because gta vc do crash a lot on low end phones,as for gta sa I think you should get another apk version meant for Mali...nfs mw can be gotten from playmob that if you are not lucky the game will be in dark appearance that you can't even see what you are doing and no CLEO cheat don't require root.

hey bro, i collected some games from a friend's laptop but when i install most of em it crash e.g gta vc crash after loading when i click start game, gta sa crash when it take me to main menu, nfs mw crash at start up. My guess is that the apk is not for the phone, how do u see it? I should get the phone gpu apk which is mali. And does cleo cheat need root?

Yes, I am. Unfortunately, the systemless root somehow manages to modify the boot partition of the ROM.

This is what I discovered, when I attempted to update, my system restarted but just went straight to recovery (TWRP) and stared back at me, instead of the usual Android logo with open belly...

I heard flashfire works but in beta mode. So, to be safe I did the option below.

However, you can do a readback of your present ROM without root and save it somewhere. So as soon as you receive the update, you do the readback and update your device and then on go about rooting.

OR

Make a backup of your boot partition, as this is the only part that rooting modifies, and restore it when OTA updates become available.

Now, you need SP Flash tool to this. You can download the latest SP Flash Tool and then follow this instructions religiously (the YouTube video particularly will help) http://forum.xda-developers.com/hot-2/development/guide-how-to-sp-flash-tool-to-unroot-t3311669

hey good day bro. i tried to installed the recovery but an issue occur.


I install mtk vcom drivers and download SP flash tool.

this tool always give me headache, the first time i tried to use it, it complain of invalid scatter file name which i downloaded from different sources but still the same so i delete the tool and the drivers.


OK yesterday it accepted the scatter file, and i load the download agent from the SP flash tool folder and i click download, plugged the phone in with battery removed and at the bottom i saw a red 100% progress bar and the tool show a popup message saying "PTM changed for ROM. Must be downloaded" and if i click OK it will just stop, the progress bar disappear.

please what is the cause. I've used other rooted phones and tools and i had no problem but i don't know why SP flash tool is like this.

Call their cc and raise your voice at them.

i can handle any rooted device like an advanced user like u. But i thought systemless root device can receive and install updates. Are u on marshmallow?

if u are the type that downloads alot go for the night plan else stick with ur monthly plan.

Ok guys that played gta series esp gta sa and nfs.

I copied some hd games from a friend laptop (wildblood, backstab, gta series. Asphalt 6,7,8, nova 2, 3, nfs shift and mw, six gun, i gladiator and more)
but nfs shift telling me resources not found, most wanted crash as i start the game, gta vice city crash after loadin to start game and gta sa crash after load their logo what can be the problems?

My guess is that the akp is not for mali gpu that what i wanna confirm first before i redownload.

The mumu one install and play very well.

i dont know thats why is good to have multiply sim cards. My elder and younger sister and mom has airel sim plus mine makin it four in my house so if i cant sub twice on a sim i'll just switch sim.

i kinda prefer the cap data to the unlimited data, not that the unlimited plan is bad but with the data now capped i know i have 5 hours to use up 3gb of data for #100 unlike the unlimited data that i have just only an hour for #100 and the time ticks more faster.

Do ur findings well and tell me how it goes...becus there many rooted fones coming from d factory apart from mine, i think u should do some research on that. Have been enjoying my factory rooted tab since last year without stressing my self at all to root it.
