Please does anyone know of any good camera app apart from the Google camera app. I am on marshmallow 6.0 June update. MY Google camera can't use flash to take photos.
And please not beauty cameras like 360, and the rest.

Or can anyone upload the Infinix XUI camera.apk app

Thanks

Thanks for your advise bro, you saved me and made me return the phone I thought was original. Finally got the original from an infinix sub delivery store.

Fake

1. "system update" not system software update
2. "send feedback about this device" is missing
3. Available memory should always be around- 11GB(for new device) then total-16 GB

Depends on the ROM your running on it.
-The androidone(Google) ROM doesn't have any. -The Infinix stock ROM only has Hotknot technology. -The XUI ported ROM has both features.
Which Of The Rom is better? can it get system update?

To root follow the instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/hot-2/development/root-recovery-xposed-successfully-t3276420

Also check the 4th reply in the thread for information if u are on Marshmallow.

There is no problem if you root your phone, I always root my phone because I use so many apps that requires it. I have not heard nor encountered any problem afterwards. Please, be informed that you must follow the instructions step by step. If you have any questions, quote me.

Note that the downside to rooting is that you will not be able to update your phone anytime there's a new update. You will always have to flash your phone and start all the way from Android Lollipop.

However, for advance users like me, there's a workaround.

Good luck and enjoy.

negga4al thanks.
i can handle any rooted device like an advanced user like u. But i thought systemless root device can receive and install updates. Are u on marshmallow?

Yes, I am. Unfortunately, the systemless root somehow manages to modify the boot partition of the ROM.

This is what I discovered, when I attempted to update, my system restarted but just went straight to recovery (TWRP) and stared back at me, instead of the usual Android logo with open belly...

I heard flashfire works but in beta mode. So, to be safe I did the option below.

However, you can do a readback of your present ROM without root and save it somewhere. So as soon as you receive the update, you do the readback and update your device and then on go about rooting.

OR

Make a backup of your boot partition, as this is the only part that rooting modifies, and restore it when OTA updates become available.

Now, you need SP Flash tool to this. You can download the latest SP Flash Tool and then follow this instructions religiously (the YouTube video particularly will help) http://forum.xda-developers.com/hot-2/development/guide-how-to-sp-flash-tool-to-unroot-t3311669

Have a problem? Quote me.
