The PDP candidate is not a northerner, so this is expected. |
dotna:That is why I said they are going to re-take Imo state and one other state. They might not have the big weights, but they always have the people. |
Olivers2J:By Feb. 2015, we'll know if APGA is truly dieing, they will recapture Imo state and 1 more state. |
All the Yorubas typing trash here, which party can you truly call yours today? |
Fake news, Boko haram shut that jet down and beheaded the pilot with video proof. This news is concorted by The Punchu to further embarrass the govt. |
EroticAngelina:That is it honey, I am taking off the wi-fi service in the kitchen! |
From mobile to marathoners, some countries on this continent have successes that America could only hope for. The Washington Post’s Africa bureau chief, Sudarsan Raghavan, lists a few of them. 1. Mobile technologies The region is much less dependent on land lines and personal computers. In Nigeria, 19 out of 20 phones are mobile. Africans were years ahead of America in widespread texting and reading by phone. And, like much of the world, the bill is often much cheaper than in the United States. Banking Years ahead of the United States, Kenya's M-Pesa network has been used by millions to pay bills, wire funds and buy food and other goods by phone. https://s21.postimg.org/cak90bipz/mpesa.jpg 3. Female leaders Unlike the United States, the region has elected female heads of state. Liberia and Malawi have been led by women. Liberia's Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, the continent's first democratically elected female leader (pictured here), also is a co-winner of the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize. https://s28.postimg.org/hrvux10z1/joyce_banda.jpg 4. Airplane service Forget pretzels and peanuts: Free lunches and beer abound on flights on commercial airlines such as Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines and South Africa Airways. Pictured here: beverage time on an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 787 Dreamliner. https://s4.postimg.org/z9nurtval/flight.jpg 5. Low-budget film-making Nigeria's film industry is considered the second-most industrious in the world, making more movies than any other nation except for India. Nollywood even is filming some of its features in the United States. https://s21.postimg.org/7kbxsqy6f/nigerian_film.jpg 6. Long-distance running Got a marathon to run? Is it prestigious? You'd better invite the Ethiopians and Kenyans, who have dominated the international scene for decades. Kenya's Sammy Kamau Wanjiru (pictured) celebrates winning the gold during the men's marathon at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. https://s3.postimg.org/snthjp40z/marathon.jpg 7. Faster economic growth Eight African nations have among the world's 20 highest-growth rates by real gross national product, according to the CIA Handbook. They are: Libya, Sierra Leone, Niger, Liberia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Botswana and Rwanda. The United States ranks No. 133 on this list. https://s11.postimg.org/fkft1tuj7/economic_growth.jpg http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/8-ways-africa-outperforms-america/2013/06/26/f37064e4-d99e-11e2-a9f2-42ee3912ae0e_gallery.html |
MadCow1:Which means 1 Naira = 192 cedis in actual sense. Egift the APC paid online thug leave economics alone please. |
I love this. I will take note of that name "Azuka Onwunka" from now on. |
Why are these APC guys so worried about TAN? There must be something special about that group. TAN is to PDP as Boko Haram is to APC |
tbaba1234:Which makes it more difficult for a from his President's Kinsmen to benefit his Presidency. His every move in that direction will be viewed with suspicion. |
tbaba1234:It will only give one Igbo man a real chance at the top role, not Igbos. A President being from a particular tribe doesn't really improve the lives of his tribesmen. The past records are there. |
Buhari should consolidate on his perceived support in the South West by choosing a Yoruba running mate, we need to put to test some of the noise our ears have been filled with in recent times about APC not needing Igbo votes to win. We don't want any excuses when he loses again. |
SLIDEwaxie:Tell your military man to forget about becoming a democratic President. |
I said this last week on another thread www.nairaland.com/1963521/what-sam-mbakwe-say-while#27390492 Collynzo29: |
Ajibel:Even the new boys Abia warriors are winning away like no man's business. Rangers had a 9 match unbeaten run just before their last loss. |
More of this Seun and crew, our league is actually getting very interesting and Supersports is doing a good job in televising it. The Dolphins vs Enyimba match is a real cracker as Enyimba will need an away win to still have any hope of clinching the title on the final day against Kano pillars in Aba. |
plucky16:Now he is here |
That is progress! |
So the governor now tells the Emir what to do, where to go to and where not to go to? Useless overhyped position. |
He only ended up telling us why he will not vote Jonathan, he didn't tell us why he will vote Buhari |
cramjones:Your grammar never ''ceases'' to amaze me. |
Yakubu, the son of Aiyegbeni! |
zlatansomto:Hahaha I thought I was the only one who noticed that. She always has a friend, relative or neigbours' relatives that are affected each time such things happens, whether it is in Kano or Borno or Adamawa, there is always someone she knows who was affected. Just ignore the scumbag |

some of the things on this list are true..nollywood makes cheap films,yeah..that's why most of them are in bad quality.
