Hi. Amazon keeps blocking my book whenever I upload. They have done this to me 19 times. And each time, they send an email saying my book would result in a disappointing customer review. I don't know what is wrong and they don't give reasons for why my book is being blocked. It's my first book. Can you help? Maybe it's the formatting of my book? I used a little AI but didn't click the "I used ai for my book" button whilst uploading it to Amazon kdp.

All my books were written with AI — but with good prompt so no be AI be the issue..

Don't even make any attempt to create a new account cos if you do, Amazon will definitely fish you out and all your earnings will be held for life.


Just forget about that title or topic and focus on creating new quality kindle books on other topics.


And in your next publications, avoid adding external links to your kindle book.

If you're creating a new account, you need a new device, a new identity, and so on. Everything should be entirely new including your sim card. Ensure nobody has used it for KDP before.

Untoldtrúth is right. Where exactly did you put the link? Even though that is not enough to get your book blocked, these guys don't care. The worst part is that you're dealing with bots. AI has no emotion and only does what it's programmed to do.

After I read somewhere in their rules that placing links that will take readers out of Amazon is prohibited, which I don't do, anyway. I know you didn't do that, you simply placed the link to the other book and a review request.

So what I did was to place the link at the end of the book, or at the middle. This is because even though you didn't do anything wrong, the bot would look out for just anything no matter how small.

I remind myself this every morning.

Amazon are wicked my boss. Just like you said, after sending the second appeal, I received a "upholding our former decision" response in less than 10 mins.. true true Amazon runs on bot o.. I don't blame Jè.ff Bezós.. group of persons no fit moderator over ten million books plus..

I have removed everylink from the book and have now modified the title and subtitle.. and am set to upload.. just that I'll be doing the cover in the morning.


Now, my question is.. I need to remove the link of the book 2(blocked book) that I put inside the book 1.. hope in doing that, the book 1 won't also get blocked(while in review) for no reason (Amazon bot dey wicked)

You didn't have to put a link inside the book for people to know it was a series, are you new? Tag it #1, upload and tag them together as a duology, Amazon will automatically show them up together as #1 and #2 because you uploaded them as a SERIES 👀

I think that was where i messed up. But to be honest, the link i put was follow-up link and review link 🫣.. maybe the 2 links triggered the bot


Another reason why I put a link was because (even though the book is in series, it can still be read in any order and would still be understood.. that's you can start from book 2 and later go back to book 1)

Amazon wants to clip my wings but i refuse to be limited. Now i understand the lamentations of superonyi

I'm pained because I didn't break any rule. Other publishers books were topping that category before mine(volume 2) started topping. I didn't do any black seo.. I used same keywords for book 1 and book 2

I sent an appeal yesterday explaining that the blocked book is a sequel to the first book and that I only added lînk to each book so that readers can easily find (book 1 or book 2.. depending on which one they're reading)

And tey promised to get back to me. Now, i just received a mail that they're upholding their decision due to a disappointing customer experience shvt..


My anger is that this book in question is a sequel to another book.. and the volume 1 is selling like mad.. and the link(which will show not available) to volume 2(blocked book) is inside..

What do i do please?

A book that i hurriedly wrote is currently ranked at no. 9 in a main category this book has no single review o.. (e beta sef because last week one of my books that was selling well just stopped selling like that because the review dropped to 3.7 stars or thereabout)

I just decided to check my dashboard and fear catch me o.. nothing special about the book.. maybe it's because I designed the cover well.. I mean the cover is so sweet and clean.. chai be like na to write another version o.. so i don finally make my first $100 online and on the road to $1k soon.. YouTube baeby can wait small pls.. kdp moni too sweet

What I mean is; someone in a foreign country is likely to make a purchase of a product or patronise a service.. based on the ads they watched. But same can't be said of someone in a 3rd world country.
