Yes, it is the same amount of data. But the reason it is so is because people in foreign countries have a higher purchasing power than their counterpart in the zuu.. and Africa at large.

What I mean is; someone in a foreign country is likely to make a purchase of a product or patronise a service.. based on the ads they watched. But same can't be said of someone in a 3rd world country.

Heck, Nigerians no dey even bother to watch ads.. na so so skip skip we dey press (which is non of our fault.. abi you no hear say data don cost). Na pesin wey don chop get money to buy data, con waste am upon ads.

CPC is how much YouTube pays you per 1,000 views.

RPM is how advertised paid to show their ads on your video views (it's usually shared 55%/45%.. with the creator taking the higher share)


For example if advertisers paid YouTube $5 to show their ads on your video, YouTube will give you — the creator, 55 percent ($2.75), and take 45 percent ($2.25).

If you make videos for foreign audience, your RPM tends to be higher than when your views are coming from third world countries and shvtholes like Nîgeria.

As a YouTube content creator, one good video that YouTube decides to push can change your life.

This is a naija girl that used to earn around $20 to $30 every month, but currently, one video has earned her over $2k+ and still counting o .. we're still in October o.. she even earned over $200 for three straight days.

I'm almost done creating some of my videos and will be posting this week.

I want to know if there's a way I can block Nigeria, India, Ghana and Kenya from seeing my videos on YouTube, because there cpc abi rpm is nothing to write home about?

Even though my channel discusses US based topics and is in the science/tech niche, I still feel anyone in Nigeria can easily watch my videos — since we're in the same geo location.

Lastly, If I block the afro mentioned countries, will it affect my views?
