According to history, the very first “thanks giving” was celebrated in October 1621. It was organized to celebrate the first harvest of the New World and there was a huge feast on this occasion. New world is a term used to denote the countries of the western Hemisphere like the Caribbean islands, America and Bermuda. This grand feast was attended by 90 Native Americans and 53 Europeans who settled in America. These Europeans are called as the Pilgrims.
