The real shame is that While Both India and China have almost 1.4 Billion people still they have much much less poor people then a country like Nigeria which has only 200M people. And story doesn't ends here, While poverty is reducing rapidly in Asia, its rapidly increasing in Nigeria.

US, France and India are strategic partners, Let me update you just last year US has changed its Asia Pacific Naval command to INDO-PACIFIC.
BTW India already has various Military bases like Tajikistan, Maldives etc

Japan has always been militarised, apart from nuclear weapons and projecting power outside the shores of Japan. The country has always had the best navy in Asia and one of the best navies in the world.

Honestly, the Japanese see the US as more of a threat than China. They will never forget hiroshima and nagasaki cos Asians are some of the biggest nationalists on the planet due to their history. The whole posturing is just for the birds. They'd rather get the US off their lands before going to war with China, trust me.
