Good evening house,my redmi note 8 fell into water this morning,I immediately picked it out and clean the body and blow the water out but the screen went off it later came back and it went off again but it's working perfectly like the touch,I receive calls but the light is not just coming up.pls what can be the cause and what is the solution

Okay for now have not gotten 11.0.12 .0 ,but will wait ,just want to feel the miui 12 but if the wait is worth it why the rush , Thanks

Good morning,pls the sim I used to register for my mi account does not receive otp or verification code ,so I was thinking maybe I should sign out of my current account,open a new one with a new phone number,pls is it adviceable to continue coz I don't want to clear all data on my phone

Use a download manager like IDMP to download. After downloading

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 10 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

Go to manage apps locate installed apps and search for updater and clear the data and cache.

Go to settings, about phone, click on all specs and take a screenshot and share.
