I saw the video and I was beyond shocked when I saw that smacked down. Even horror film hasn't shocked me this much in years. |
I think if you are as good in barbing as you claim, it is a good idea to open a barbing saloon. You just need to (in fact, you have to) get some very important factors right. 1. location (very key) 2. location. With a good location, a lot of things should go smoothly (by the leave of God) With your 500k, you should be able to start up with your shop looking nice and attractive and some fee budget going into marketing (flyers, stickers, business card etc) to your neighborhood. And finally, as you grow (even within 2-3 months) you get some students/learners that you groom, or even get an expert barber to help increase your earning. Barbing salon can be lucrative if you get your location right, shop all nice, customer care sweet, and service excellent. And I you feel like being over zealous, after maybe 6months, that you must have been known, you can even add a Mobile app for home service request (you share this app with your customers that cone to your shop ). That will position you as being innovative. |
Apparently, jumia seems to have gotten a lot of things wrong. Personally, I think one of the things they got wrong was over spending... These guys spend just too much on ads alone. And also the lack of or slow implementation innovative solutions that would improve ecommerce experience and reduce cost for them on the long run. I just hope they solidify there feet soon in their remaining countries. |
