According to South African Daily Sun,first it was the death pose, followed by the sex funeral and sangoma poses. Now the birth pose has taken over social media, with South African school kids leading the pack.

But the new pose has outraged parents. The fact that most of the pictures taken are of pupils in uniform has most questioning the culture of learning in some of these schools. Some are now calling for the pupils to be disciplined as the pose is seen as being in bad
taste.

In one of the pictures circulating online, a pupil’s head is seen sticking out from under another pupil’s skirt. A group of pupils can also be seen posing as doctors and nurses helping to deliver a baby.

Thandi Molekoa (54), a mother of two from Soweto, told Daily Sun children taking part in this
trend are possessed.

“These children act like they are bewitched,” said worried Thandi. “What are they hoping to achieve with such pictures? “The sad thing is that most of them are school kids.
“They are supposed to focus on their studies and nothing else. “Such things are the reason we have such a high rate of teenage pregnancy.”

Mjay Dinoge wrote on Facebook: “This is madness.” Tefo Tladi wrote: “I don’t know if I should laugh or be sad.” Oba Gaebonwe posted: “These kids are out of line and such things are unacceptable. They should be taught the basics of ubuntu.

“I’m sure even pastors don’t want to dwell much on their behaviour. Eish!” Sania Mpho Swaratlhe: “Is this what freedom and democracy looks like?”

Zimbabwe's Afro-pop musician Gary Tight is being sued by his ex-lover for failing to own up to his promise of marrying her.

Born Gary Muponda, the youthful singer is being sued by his former lover, Amanda Tinotenda Manyowa for US$10 000 for breach of an agreement to marry.

Amanda, who is being represented by lawyer Jivas Mudimu of Mudimu Law Chambers, in her summons filed at the Harare Civil Court on October 31 this year, claimed that Gary promised to marry her sometime last year.

But he later dumped her before fulfilling his promise-which was made orally before both of their relatives. “On or around the 15th of December 2014, the Plaintiff and the Defendant entered into a love relationship.

“After dating for two years, on the 31st of December 2016, the Defendant promised to marry the Plaintiff, which and in pursuit to that promise, the plaintiff and the Defendant started living together in April 2017 at the Defendant’s residence.

“Sometime in May 2017, the Defendant repudiated the agreement to marry the Plaintiff, which agreement, the Defendant had made to Plaintiff orally.

This was done by conduct, where the Defendant together with his mother took the Plaintiff’s clothes to her maiden home, chased the Plaintiff away and ordered her not to come,” she claimed in her summons.

Amanda claimed that Gary’s actions were deliberately meant to injure her dignity and reputation. She also complained, in her summons, that Gary by so-doing embarrassed her morally.

“The Defendant has wasted the Plaintiff’s time and the Plaintiff has since suffered due to the bad reputation that the Defendant has imputed on her.

“By virtue of the Defendant’s breach of promise, the cause of action arisen is that the Plaintiff suffered damages in the amount of US $10 000 for contumacious breach of contract whereby Plaintiff’s personal dignity and reputation were impaired,” she said.

Gary, who is son to legendary Zimbabwe singer Willom Tight, is yet to respond to the claim.

This scandal is coming just a few weeks after the artiste made news for bring some wild girls to dance in a very ratchet style on stage at a concert.

This week, a robbery incident reportedly went down at an office complex located at 103, 'Mosesola house' Allen Avenue, Ikeja.



According to a statement from the comlplex, 'the buglar gained access to the offic complex on Allen Avenue through the general gate. CCTV footage showed the suspect trying to acccess different locked offices with several sets of keys that he had in his possesion.

It continued to say, 'he broke into one particular office with a combination of keys and physical force. We don't know if he had other weapons with him, but we suspect he would have been armed and dangerous'.



Photos of the alleged robber has been released with a plea for information on his whereabouts.

Bobrisky has spoken out for the first time since he was arrested in Lekki, Lagos on November 7th, 2017.

Speaking to LIB exclusively, Bobrisky revealed that serial entrepreneur Toyin Lawani was the one who called for his arrest stating that she accused him of stealing his customers.

He revealed that the case was reported in Abuja and that he is currently on his way to Abuja to resolve the issue. He said;

Toyin Lawani asked her lawyer to write petitions against me that I worked for her and I'm selling cream to all her customers. Which was a fat lie. I never worked for Toyin. She was my friend. I can't remember ever working for Toyin or learning how to make cream from her.

Then she also said I threatened her. So we are going to Abuja cos that was where the case was reported. Before she wrote petitions against me, she had already threatened me that she is giving me 7 days to go to the internet and apologize to her which I said no way because she offended me. I think because I refused to apologize, she got the police involved
Speaking about what transpired at the police station yesterday, Bobrisky said his phones were taken from him and he was told that he needed to wait until morning in order to go to Abuja.

Yesterday at the police station, I was sitting at the counter and I was told I needed to wait until morning to go to Abuja. My phone was taken from me so I couldn't talk to anyone. I'm trying to get in touch with my lawyer and all the people I know.

Demetria Obilor, a curvy Nigerian-American traffic reporter, has come under fire for the way she dresses her curves on TV.

Demetria works with Channel 8 in Dallas. On Wednesday, a woman who goes by Jan Shedd on Facebook went on social media to call out Demetria, who she said was a "size 16/18 woman in a size 6 dress". She went on to say that she will no longer watch Channel 8 anymore because of the curvy anchor

But some viewers did not agree with the woman and criticized her. Even Chance the Rapper weighed in and opposed Jan for her negative comments about the new Channel 8 reporter. A lot of people felt her comment was racist.

"This is precisely how women of color are treated in the workplace wearing the same exact s*** white girls have on," a user wrote on Twitter, along with a screengrab of Shedd’s post.

The Texas woman later claimed she was attacked by the "racist mafia" after making her Facebook post, which she declared had nothing to do with race.

Shedd wrote: "Frankly, I didn’t even notice that she was black. I was shocked that Channel 8 would put someone on the air that dressed so provocatively."

Demetria Obilor, whose father is Nigerian, became famous when a popular website called her the most beautiful Traffic Reporter in the world with the hashtag #TrafficBae. Since then she has gone on to become even more popular and the criticism from Jan has only served to make her more so.

Meanwhile, Obilor has replied to the criticism. She recorded a video where she addressed her critics and also those who show her love.

A 19-year-old Chicago gang member made an inappropriate video which involved a 15-year-old girl and he is now wanted by the police for statutory rape.

The charges came about when the disturbing video went viral. It shows the 19-year-old boy with a 15-year-old high school girl. The boy was holding a gun to the girl's genitals while asking her whose it is.

"Whose p**** is this?" he asked in the video with the gun in between her legs.

"It's yours," she replied laughing.

"What's my name," he asked and she replied, "Big daddy".

According to reports, the girl's mother saw the video when it went viral and reported to the police. He has now been charged with statutory rape for having sex with a minor.
