There was drama in Nyeri County Assembly in Kenya after nominated MCA, Elizabeth Nyawira, was kicked out by the Deputy Speaker over indecent dressing.

The Deputy Speaker claimed that Elizabeth was not dressed according to the assembly's code.

Award-winning Nollywood movie Director Of Photography and Editor Jude Legemah recently completed his latest work titled "Mr B" starring an A-list cast which comprises of Kalu Ikweagwu, Ebere Okaro, Yaw, Lota Chukwu and many others.

Mr B is a romantic comedy about an old widow's quest to get her late son's widow a husband. Nneoma played by Ebere Okaro returns to Nigeria from Cotonou with Nadia, played by Lota Chukwu, after the passing of her husband and sons. She believes a happy home is the best reward for Nadia's loyalty to her. She decides to play cupid as she sets her eyes on Boniface played by Yaw and Mr B, played by Kalu Ikeagwu, her nearest kinsmen, with the hope that one of them will take up Nadia as wife.

According Hmetro Zimbabwe, in a case of revenge porn, a jilted Harare man threatened to use social media to destroy his ex-girlfriend before he went on to post nude pictures of the girl where he alleged that the latter had infected him with HIV.

He had taken a video of the woman whilst she was not aware. He asked the admin of the Facebook group to hide his identity and gave all the details of the girl, lying that she was HIV positive.

The man, identified as Thompson Khaka, last week in a WhatsApp conversation vowed to use Social Media to tarnish the image of a woman he had dated for almost a year. Two days later, he posted nude pictures of the woman.

Efforts to get a comment from Thompson were fruitless as his mobile number was not getting through while he did not reply questions sent to him by H-Metro by the time of going to print.

The ex-girlfriend who reported to Hmetro was in shock adding that she did not believe that Thompson would go to such length to tarnish her image.

“He had earlier threatened to do this but I thought he was only joking and just wanted us to get back together. I was shocked when I received calls from friends and relatives who had seen the nude pictures and his post.

“I never posed nude for pictures. He took a video of me coming from the bath and I never saw how he did it.

“Why should he use social media to destroy me? It only takes a single post to destroy one’s life. What if my parents see those pictures and the post? I have a life to live and I don’t know why he wants to destroy me like this.”

Following his post, Thompson has come under fire by some social media users who criticised him for his childish behaviour further challenging him to prove that he had been infected with HIV by the ex-girlfriend.

H-Metro helped the victim to have the post pulled down from Facebook and it was removed within an hour, even though some of them had find their way on some sites already.

Cases of revenge porn over the years have been on the rise and activists have already petitioned the Zimbabwe Parliament to consider the ban of revenge pornography.

The law would protect people from having their nude photos or videos leaked (usually by an ex) on internet or social media platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook where such material easily goes viral.

Globally, some developed countries have Revenge Porn laws although Africa is yet to specifically recognise revenge porn as a crime.

Zimbabwe is currently relying on laws prohibiting the broadcasting and distribution of regular pornography, anti-harassment laws, and the use of mobile phones to send harassing messages.

Cross River state born lawyer, First Baba Isah woke his wife Juliet, up this morning with breakfast in bed. Sharing photos of the happy wife on Facebook, he wrote;

A 15-year-old Junior Secondary School 2 pupil of Agbara Commuinty Junior Secondary School, Ogun State who was declared missing by the police in the state left many people in shock after she was found having fun in the boyfriend's house. The girl identified as Asmau Ajibade, went missing for seven days after she left home for school.


According to Punch Metro, the girl lived with the guardians, Alhaji Rauf Adetona and Alhaja Ajarat Adetona, in OPIC Estate, Agbara, off Lagos-Badagry Expressway, Ogun State before she reportedly disappeared.


Ajibade it was learnt had left the house at about 7.30am last Monday in her school uniform. The belief in the house was that she had gone to school. The guardians became apprehensive when it was 4pm and she had not returned home. Record of the school reportedly revealed that she was absent that day.


Ajarat said the girl had been living with them since she was four years old, adding that she was surprised by her disappearance. She said it was the first time she would leave home without returning.


''But a cobbler around here told us that he fixed her torn sandal that morning. The cobbler said she seemed to be in a hurry as she told him that somebody was waiting for her''.


The girl was rescued last Saturday while living with a guard identified as John who is her lover in the Agbara area of Ogun State. John was apprehended along with a cobbler, Moses who hooked the girl up with John.

One of the guardians, Alhaji Rauf Adetona, said Ajibade confessed that it was the cobbler who hooked her up with John, adding that she spent four days with the lover.

The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed John and Moses’ arrest.


The girl has been reunited with her guardians and the suspects arrested and they will be arraigned for abduction.


***The questions many have been asking now is,"where did she spend the remaining three days if she only spent four days with them but was missing for 7 days?. Just recently, another young girl was declared missing, only for her to be found having a blast with some men.Not to talk of another underage Nigerian girl found with a boyfriend inside a hotel room sometimes back.

A Njgerian artiste on Facebook named Cyclops King Joseph has celebrated his birthday in one unique style.Cyclops released some birthday photos and among them were photos of him wearing only a pant. When his followers started coming for him and labelling him a gay, he removed the photos.But not before we were able to take a screen shots of it on Facebook.

Cyclops however explained to his fans that his reason for going unclad was to appreciate God for being alive and doing so unclad since that is the way he came into this world.
