Iran will always use lies to cover up its shame and to deviate from the fact that Israel is beating them blue, black and purple. Correct beatdown; enough WOTOWOTO grin🤣

the boy is good na we no dey rate am

All he need to improve is his ball distribution
Immediately he saved that deflected shot, I quickly remembered the one he couldn't save against Tunisia that more or less cost him his spot in the team. I am so happy that he saved this one. Our midfielders and defenders need to learn how to prevent such shots from happening in the first place. That was not an easy save at all, but Maduka made it look easy.

Sports › Re: Super Eagles: Dessers Disappointed To Be Snubbed In Competitive Games by COOL10(m):
Thank God Dessers is even using his real age. Can you say the same for the Nigerian born Super Eagles players? Of course not.

There are a lot of current Super Eagles players that are obviously older than Dessers but are using their "football age." You'll see a 35 years old man claiming 22 years.

Dessers deserves to be in that squad irrespective of his age. Besides, he's just 30 years old and is still in excellent shape. Can you say the same about the other players? 🤷🏽‍♂️

My Super Eagles Players of The Tournament (out of those who played both games) are definitely:

1) Cyriel Dessers (obviously 😄) for his 1 goal and 1 assist in the 2 matches played. His movement/positioning and link up play were very impeccable. He has shown that he indeed deserves to be a regular in the Super Eagles.

2) Chukwueze for his goal today and overall impressive performance in the left half space in both games. He surprised everyone, especially considering the fact that he was played in a new position. Amazing performance from him, but he needs to learn how to release the ball quickly.

Yes both of them died within the same week, some months ago
He's burying them next week
He posted the burial flyer yesterday on X..
Kai, I just saw the news online on Punch Newspaper's website. It's so sad. Now I feel bad about criticizing him today. The fact that he even showed up to play in this tournament should be applauded.

Someone burying both parents next month is definitely not in the right frame of mind. My condolences to him 🙏

That nwabali matter, maybe the burial of his mum and dad affected him ( he's burying both of them next week)
Maybe he's not quite there emotionally..
Even his dives for the penalties were off..

Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by COOL10(m): 6:45pm On May 31, 2025
TheSuperNerd:
Cyriel Dessers has eyes at the back of his head. What a player. He knew where Tolu was because he prescanned before receiving that pass in the box. Split second intelligence and his bipedality sure helps his composure on the ball in the box. He makes way but he has made a solid case for himself to be Super Eagles' number 2 striker.
I'm glad you noticed Dessers' constant head movements before receiving the ball. His intelligence, movement and positioning are some of his best qualities. I love intelligent players.

If only Tolu had scored from the two assists that Dessers created for him.
