This is bulshit and very unprofessional from Lookman, let him try it against Algeria who can equalise the yeye two goals he was talking about. So it’s now a crime to be hungry for more goals because someone has two. Shebi it’s because it was Mozambique. Osihmen you guys are bashing is the one that’s more mature to know that after what happened against Tunisia it’s the wisest thing to pump in as more goals as possible. This gentle nature of Lookman that’s deceiving all of you, I will be here to mock all those that will complain again by the time the same Lookman starts playing like the way he was doing during the wcq and some were already saying he should be benched. You folks forget the past easily. Make una continue
You're taking sides which is what you preach against. Its been established that the whole scenario wasn't about Lookman vs Osimhen, and I believe you should close this chapter.

And the "I told you so" part? Grossly unnecessary.

Abeg, let's move past this.

I'm not even excusing Osimhen's behavior..
I am treating it as a today issue
Most of us are bringing past issues to the matter..

I have already said Osimhen needs to apologize to the whole team and should be benched in our next game

He’s wasn’t releasing the ball on time but look at how quick and direct he was giving Akor that assist.

Funny enough in the first half Lookman was even releasing the ball on time but in the second half there were two instances where he was slow. Let’s not forget o how Akor was reluctant in celebrating with Lookman after scoring against Tunisia it took Iwobi to jump on him to join in the celebrations.

Both Lookman and Iwobi are our creative players and the team needs them most. Go and watch an interview with Sunday mba with Elegbete he narrated how keshi had to threaten to bench victor moses for uzoenyi because of this issue and he mentioned same thing is happening in this team but he refused to mention which player. Most folks assume he was referring to chuks.
You criticize Nigerians for demanding perfection from these players, but on the other hand, you're expecting perfection from Lookman/Akor. Is that fair and enough for Osimhen to cause a scene, after two goals?

Football is dynamic and not every move is the same. Prior to the second half, these guys in question (Looku and Akor) already have goals and assists. In addition, we were still creating chances when this issue occurred. Why not calm down and tell them to pass?

Significantly, what will you say about the hard-created chances wasted by Osimhen? Or his offline woes? What happens when his teammates decend on him due to these?

What's good for the goose should also be good for the gander.

Oga watch match and leave statistics
If Lookman, Akor and Osayi release ball today, we would probably have won 7 or 8:0

Even me wey no play, I was frustrated with the unnecessary ball holding and dressing, talk more of Osimhen who was making the runs and was repeatedly ignored
It's quite unbelievable that you're excusing Osimhen's behavior.

Osayi crossed at least 2 perfect balls to Osimhen in the first half alone. Go back and watch with calm nerves.

Meanwhile, you mean other players shouldn't take clear shots at goal when in a better position but should instead cross/pass to Osimhen?

Nawa sha.

And that’s what led to the 4th goal by Akor o

Leave Nigerians with their self righteous attitude
So you actually agreed that Lookman was selfish in this game and only started passing after Osimhen shouted at him?

Incredible.

The coach should educate his team on the importance of team spirit. They should be more selfless;pass the ball to a free teammate or one in a better position infront of goal.
Gracias.
None of the players today were selfish. We shouldn't be creating issue out of nowhere. You think if there weren't passing we would have been scoring goals and creating tons of chances?

Osimhen is the most important player in this team.

He is always unselfish infront of goal. You recall the pass from Osimhen that Onuachu failed to convert b4 scoring via FDB assist.

Lookman should be more of a team player. We are grateful, he has a knack of assisting his team mates.

They wouldn't have qualified without him.

He deserves some respect from his teammates.

This is the Eagles' best performance I have seen in years, but No everyone dey para with Osihmen, Nigerians looking for unnecessary perfection every time. We didn't concede, no defensive mistake, Nwabali was calm but nobody see that one.

4-0 nil scoreline and the player we Dey vex with got a brace 😂 Nigerians na wa
Baba forget talk, let's call a spade a spade and not a shovel. Those goals do not excuse his disgusting attitude, and no, this has no thing to do with Nigerians chasing perfection.

His actions can actually cause an indelible damage to this spirit and growth of this soaring side.

What message do you send when your coach can't control, caution, or calm you? How long will this continue? Do we keep excusing this outburst every single time?

Did you forget how a similar situation partially affected our chances of winning the game against DRC?

Abeg, make them hire a psychologist for am.
