It is registration that is closing today, though they might extend it, because many schools are yet to send in. But you should also consider that a lot of people are in the backlogged register since stream 1 so they only need few people

is that deadline for registration for nysc is closing 13th or uploading of Senate list to nysc portal?
cause I'm still waiting for my school to upload our names and if they do I'm not sure if I can meet up the deadline which is 13th ..
please some one should make things clear for me please

2021 BATCH 'B' STREAM II ONLINE REGISTRATION TIPS
1. NYSC Registration Portal opens today till 13th of August 2021, visit (www.nysc.org.ng) and click on the active link "Mobilization 2021 Batch B".
2. The portal is also open for Foreign trained graduates and part-time graduates.
3. If you have registered previously and did not complete your Registration, click "Login Here" to continue your registration with your Username and Password.
4. Do not thumbprint by proxy.
5. Upload a clear passport photograph. Do not upload passport photograph putting on NYSC crested vest. Passport Photograph cannot be changed after Camp Registration.
6. PCMs who have Name Correction request ( Addition or Removal of Name) to be attended to by the Institution, should apply for that during Online Registration on their dashboard as well as spelling errors and rearrangement.
7. Date of Graduation and Course of Study will be on Certificate of National Service and Exemption Certificate.
Ensure your details are correct, else contact your Institution.
8. Apply for Date of Birth Correction on your dashboard. Note that you cannot correct your Date of Birth after Camp Registration.
9. PCMs are advised to preview records entered before submission to avoid errors.

Everyone should note that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have announced yesterday for the extension of its registration to Tuesday 13th of July 2021.

If you are yet to register or thinking about it before. It is time to do that oo, chances of later registration going with the next stream/batch is low too, if that is what is holding you back.

In a post they made yesterday to informed the public of the removal of deployment option to prospect

NYSC Management reserves the authority to deploy all Prospective Corps Members Nationwide based on approved criteria

The first thing to note is that the wrong date of birth is not a big deal and that does not mean that it can't be changed.

WHY SHOULD I CARE?

Don't think it is a dumb question to ask, actually some don't care especially in the rush of getting their registration done, so some don't know, why others wave it.

But you should not.

Unlike before on every certificate, there is now your date of birth there so not paying attention to this now when it can be fixed might lead to an employer not taking your certificate serious,

And do you know what; There can't be any correction of ..........

Let go about this, It is not new that the registration only lasted for 5 days, I wonder how many are captured, but definitely good because they know what they want FEW PCM, this will translate to STRICT ARRANGEMENT too.

1 . Orientation Course has been scheduled to 10th to 30th of March 2021, not seeing your callup letter means you are in stream 2 which is by May 2021
