Bomb went off when the driver started the engine.

This is not terrorism. This is a case of crime.

Police should start by questioning the driver of the car as soon as he is feeling fine. He knows something. Infact, he probably knows what he has done and why he ended up that way.

(I know, movies).

If this was your typical car bomb, from your typical terrorist, they would have parked the car somewhere, and blown it up from a distance, or done the suicide bomb style, where they ram the car into a building setting off the explosive.

A bomb triggered by the car being started tells me that it's personal, and that someone somehwere has paid premium for someone to be offed.

What if they terrorists are only testing the microphone to buy more time before they strike big? They may be using this to play on the security personnel’s intelligence .

I trust ISRAEL, that the phone on his lap would had attracted some precision guided missile on his head. It’s unfortunate that with all the million of dollars claimed to have been spent on military , Nigerian military is STILL not capable of handling these terrorists.

Enemies caught alive or those that surrendered voluntarily, are regarded as POWs and international rules of engagement say they must be treated humanely in all circumstances. They must be protected against any act of violence, as well as against intimidation, insults and public curiosity. The minimum acceptable conditions of rehabilitation and reintegration must cover such issues as accommodation, food, clothing, hygiene and medical care.

Why is the same treatment NOT given to armed robbers that surrendered to police? Why are they not given amnesty but sentenced to years in prison? Ok they don’t deserve such treatment except they pick up guns against the nation or government. Right?
