You didn’t provide proof that holyghost DOES NOT defend. There are many functions of holyspirit and the aim is to protect and defend Christians away from danger. The truth is that many of us Christians are struggling to get to that realm where we are able to activate and engage these powerful potential of holyspirit.

Jesus said he will give us (Christians) the holyspirit to teach us ALL THINGS including REVELATIONS on what to say against armed robbers to escape their evil or to even make the armed robbers fall into hand of the authorities.

This same power of the spirit of God defended and protected JESUS from being killed down the hill. The power from the spirit in Jesus caused the crowd that held him in their hands to be hypnotized (became a dummy that they didn’t know when he released himself from their grip).

You are the one having selective reading and answer. We talking about thieves and criminals being punished for not obeying the laws of government (which are laws of God). So where did we discuss Jesus as LIGHT and peace?

The question is simple and clear enough to understand. Now let me rephrase the question again …is it a sin to punish criminals who are enemy of Government secular laws given by God e.g no prostitution, robbery, lying and others).

I didn’t ask if it is a sin to punish those that didn’t receive Jesus.

No, holy ghost is use to get closer to God. It's not an instrument to fight. The problem is that Christians confused fire from heaven in old testament to holy ghost fire on pentecost day. They don't have same job description

Have you heard from the Bible that we can do nothing except by the spirit of God that strengthens us? This same spirit of God (an excellent spirit) was upon Daniel who worked with king Nebuchadnezzar who was always looking for innovations to conquer his enemies at war to which Daniel gave to him 10 times better than all his scientists put together.

Jesus did not tell Christians to pray for the enemies to have more strength to fight the LIGHT. So be mindful of what you pray for while praying for the so - called enemy.
