Robbers chop off the two hands of Usmanu Dan Fodio University, Sokoto, Nigeria class rep

A 200-level Linguistics student of the Usmanu Dan Fodio University, Sokoto State, has lost both hands, following an attack by some suspected armed robbers.

According to his classmates, Habibu A. Nakasare, was attacked on Sunday, around Mana, Sokoto, by the suspects who snatched his motorcycle after chopping off his two hands.

A Nigerian Lady identified as Ijeoma has shared screenshots of the conversation between two ladies on a Facebook group. According to her, one Onweremadu Jane, the Leader of TTC women’s group on Facebook, a group that prays for women looking for a children, mocked a fellow member who at the time was newly married and with no child.

Everline Namukhula, who gave birth to quintuplets in Shisokhe village, Navakholo sub-county Kakamega county Kenya, has died.

The 28 year old mother passed away today, Sunday, April 7, at Moi teaching and referral Hospital Eldoret, after complaining of chest pains last night.

Late Everline, who had four other children, gave birth to three girls and two boys through a Caesarean Section, last month.

school children returning from an excursion, were left seriously injured, some minutes ago, after their bus had a ghastly accident at Wasinmi, along the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway.

Although no casualty was recorded, one of their teachers had her eye plucked out and many of the students were left with serious injuries.

Reports has it that they had gone on an excursion from Lagos to Abeokuta, Ogun State, and were said to be returning, when their bus rammed into a car and veered off its lane to face oncoming vehicles on the other lane.

The victims have since been rushed to the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta, for urgent medical attention.
