The victims, aged between 15 and 18 years, were reportedly lured from Nigeria with promises of decent jobs in a restaurant but were forced into sex work upon arrival in Ghana. One of the victims was Nwachukwu’s own sister.

No one remembers most of the current Lagos beach front were like this years ago until someone decides to develop it, once it's developed, we all suddenly forget it was once like this begging for attention.

Landmark was never destroyed/demolished, only the shanties that were not part of the Landmark property were demolished because of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road.
