Help me tell them oo, the way some Nigerians price cars is very painful and yet someone open this thread as if dey can pay close to 3m for a toyota Camry big daddy. Common 1.5m self na still wahala, talk less of close to 3m, e mean say de car no go sell at all.
Lol. predictable . It’s the accused and guilty sellers that are here defending presenting accidented cars as clean title and accident free.

valarinz:
So bros, cos you bought a clean title car and yet Nigerians refused to buy it, rather they prefer the cheaper accidented ones, you pass the verdict that the fellow car dealers are your problem and reasons for not selling??

A very simple solution staring you in the face, yet u ignore it cos u want to follow the popular bandwagon route of blaming dealers for every thing, even a missing spare bolt.

All of them typing all these holy things here on this thread will still not buy your Clean title car, if you like supply VIN or more, they'll rather buy accidented or they'll price your Clean title car for same or even lower than accidented ones, yet u keep blaming the dealers, if you are serious for biz u won't put yourself in a situation where you'll have to tie down your money for 8 months for a meagre 150k profit.

Do the maths!!
Just take a look at this id1otic reasoning. You’ve somehow managed to totally miss the point. Abeg simply disclose the facts about your cars and carry your nonsense somewhere else. We know your type. Na una full this place. Ode

Buyers are always looking for ridiculously cheap cars too. They want low mileage for a 10 to 15year old car. To me, the only reason a 10year old car will have a mileage lower than 100k is accident, that's car wasn't used for a period of time.

Dealers or no dealers, Nigerians are greedy! We want to make so much on just one deal/transaction. Even you wey dey criticise dealers, are you honest in dealing with your clients. You are complaining because this directly affect you.

Last year, I was in the car market for a BMW e70, the prices I got was in the range of 6m to 7.5m for a 2008 x5 tokunbo, and I wonder why cars are so expensive in this country.

I bought the same car for $6000, (auction with high mileage; 170k) accident free. Add $300 to ship in a container with other cars ($6300). Then clearing cost of 950k. Total of about 3.2m.

We are just too greedy.

I am not a saint!
You say we are all greedy. I assume this means we should all fold up our chairs and go home? We shouldn’t call out dishonest sh1t because everyone’s doing it?

If a buyer seeking a 2005 GMC suburban with 60,000 miles in 2018 goes to the open market and realizes he can’t get anyone with legit history for the rock bottom prices he had in mind, of course he would readjust his expectations. Yes. Demand drives supply, but that shouldn’t be an excuse to do shady sh1t.

Same excuses I see everywhere. Una rehearse am for midnight meeting? Buyers want ridiculously cheap this, buyers want low mileage that. Buyers want clean title this, yada yada yada.
Egbon no let that one be your excuse. So because you sell rice and people come to your shop everyday quoting and haggling prices, you would add stones and chaff to bulk up the rice and sell less for more? Or you would buy local rice and repackage in imported rice bags?
Crook na crook. Crook will always find an excuse. No be ponzi wey claim say e no do anything wrong because buyers wanted ridiculously high return percentages and he used that to build a fraudulent scheme so big it became the eponymous standard?
Tell the truth and provide the facts about your vehicles, and when these buyers come to you with their ridiculous haggling explain things to them, after all na sales you dey. If dem no gree please move on. There are lots of fish in the ocean.

Comprehensive vin checks aren’t free Sir. This is a one-off. Contact Computerglobal via ‭0806 036 5068‬ for any other vehicle vin reports.

This is a relatively clean titled 2015 Toyota Venza. No issues to disclose, from my findings. Find the mileage at auction in 2017 and other information below.

shocked shocked Just checked and saw a whooping 360,000 miles deducted from the mileage account of this Highlander leaving a paltry balance of 13,000 miles claiming the car is almost brand new!

I am for full disclosure. But the buyer should not stop at that. Personally I will still conduct due diligence to save myself from an impending disaster.

Another case to consider is the situation where 2 or 3 'dealers' or agents are advertising the same car or are they an unholy trinity?
This one is for you.
