rolinox: Great questions! First, make sure your study plan clearly shows how your chosen course connects to your career goals. This makes your application stronger. For financial proof, focus on providing official bank statements or sponsorship letters. As for delays, it helps to apply early and track your application online regularly. If you’re exploring career options after studying, vocational paths like this insightful guide on cdl training can be a game-changer. Hi, must I prove the source of funds in my sponsors account? (Including sums in that happened in the 6 months bank’s statement) What if she is a petty trader? |

Opeyemi007: 1 month might seem dodgy. Better to use 6 months to show how you’re being supported here. You could annotate transfers from your mom on your bank statement too. Hi, I have a foreign account so she doesn’t send funds directly from her naira account. I have money gram receipts sent by my dad (sept, July and April). But the money sent via money gram still doesn’t tally with my monthly credits. How do I go about this? |

giselle237: When she renews her tenancy, you apply or you say you are paying for your own accommodation and keep friend out of it .. .. a hotel booking is fine for the visa application, you don’t need a confirmed paid booking. Thank so much, I just did the booking at a study inn. |

I have a budget of 1000 pounds Flight- 300 pounds Feeding- 50x6= 300 Accommodation= 200 Transport and miscellaneous = 200 Is this budget okay or needs adjustment? I’m not in Nigeria so flight fair from my location is within 250-300 range
My friend wanted to accommodate me but her tenancy agreement is expiring a week before my planned trip.
Is it possible to apply without the tenancy agreement? i.e just her brp, passport and a letter from her datailing where she stays? (She said it’s bill inclusive so no utility bill) |

giselle237: There is no other way. You have to provide proof of how whatever is accrued in your mother’s account was accrued. Also alot of money lodgements in your mother’s accounts and they can not verify where the monies are coming from.. if you can not provide these, I’m afraid there is no way around to get the visa. You must also provide your bank statements and how the money inside was accrued. If they are money transfers from Nigeria, there should be receipts of these transactions… I usually get the Turkish lira transferred to my account from exchangers. Since I’m a student and there is a low balance on the account, do I need to explain older lump sum deposits and transfers?. Would you recommend I use my maternal uncle’s bank statement since he has a registered business (we don’t share the same surname) |

Segun889: Hi, Apologies as i just took note that your stated annual income is £9k. You need to show how your parents send this money to you. Saying you don't have another income is technically right. (We regard income as money received in exchange of labour or services).
With the statement written in bold above said, if you want to support a financial sponsors account, you still have to show how they make that income ( invoices/receipts/payment orders etc) in their bank account.
Thank you so much for the pointers however, in my application I stated that I’m a student and I have other income (allowance from parents). If I submit my statement of account, how do I prove the credits are from my parents since there isn’t a direct transfer from their naira account to my Turkish lira account or should I have stated that I have no other income?
Secondly my mum runs an informal business (palm oil business), how would she prove the transactions are for her business? So would you suggest that my next application that I have no other income? And for my mum’s account how do we prove the transactions since it’s an informal business, her contracts are mostly verbal also and it’s not registered so there are no tax or invoices. If you don’t mind sharing your email so I can contact you for more pointers if that’s fine by you |

Segun889: I'm really sorry about your refusal, i think there were a few key details you missed and which made the entire application look incomplete. 1. To Start with, i think 3 weeks for you to reapply and get a response might be very tight so if you would wanna consider deferring your OSCE to a later date. 2. In your submission, you claim you earn money but provided no proof, no employment letter, no statement of account ( you can still submit your turkish statement of account, remember you're in Cyprus and believe me they can read your statements or get it translated). 3. It is not enough to provide a sponsors document (statement) without proof of the source of income. Reverse the role and see if you were the case handler you would give it any weigh. A sponsor has to provide a letter to support your application, verifiable proof of their source of income including but not limited to their employment letter and how much they are gonna be sponsoring you with. 4. In the absence of the above, any case worker would start to doubt if there are any strong ties you have in Cyprus.
In conclusion, get the documents above, and carefully resubmit your application and i believe your application would be considered positively. Also, you can include the receipts of your fees for your education in Cyprus when resubmitting. All the best and wish you luck. Cheers
NB: My above submission is a personal opinion and not a professional or official advice. Please guys help me with an assignment on assertiveness. How will you react to the scenario below
Tim is a member of your team working with you on a specific project. He has consistently been late meeting his commitments on this project. In the beginning, you covered for him, doing his work as well as your own; however, this has now been going on for two weeks and it does not appear to be changing. |
