Crisis Erupts in Osun Government House After Delegates Refuse to Sign Blank Result Sheets for Primaries

There was commotion at the Okefia Government House Osogbo the Osun State Capital on Tuesday as delegates invited to the place refused to sign blank results sheets of the primary elections held since last week.

It was gathered that the chairman of the party Gboyega Famodun had come to the Government House to address delegates who participated in the elections to select flag bearers for the National and state assembly elections next year.

They were allegedly asked to sign sheets said to be blank after which they were expected to be paid some stipends .

However, those present were said to have insisted that they wanted to see the winners and the losers of the primaries before they could append their signatures.

The insistence by the delegates had reportedly angered Famodun who stormed out of the venue in annoyance.

The meeting was Said to have come to an abrupt end as the delegates left angrily many chanting anti government slogans.

Some Party members had also come to the Government House gate with placards protesting what they called a shoddy primary.

Tambuwal is a disaster, betrayal and selfish. I remember how he worked against Gbajabiamila to bring Dogara a northerner as speaker then, today he forgot Wike effort in his political career and can only step down for Atiku a northerner. Tambuwal is no longer welcome in our territory.

It's stated on their website that online pre registration is mandatory because of the Covid and applicants will only come for capturing which will just take few minutes so as to overcrowding but now that restrictions are no longer strict I guess they can now attend to everyone at their office.
