Stop playing around with words. 2) The first attack against biafra was not launched from the west or midwest. Col Mohammed Shuwa's 1st Divison was garrisoned at Makurdi. There fighting force were concentrated on the border which separated the eastern region from the benue province of the Northern region

3) The Midwest was a buffer zone. They had proclaimed neutrality before the commencement of hostilities. Ojukwu breached the agreement, invaded the midwest, foisted an ibo military administrator on them and ordered the 'Liberation Army' to match onto the west.
