Herbert Macaulay himself claims he is from Lagos state and even stated where he from in Lagos. You disregarded who Herbert said he is but you accept who you claim Saraki said he is, can you see the stupidity in your logic.

secondly, you claim Saraki is a Fulani, until we pointed it to you that is is actually a Yoruba name. In your new response you shifted ground that the name was adopted to control the people, so since you know this why did you lie the name saraki is Fulani name when it is not.

Thirdly you said his mother gave him the name Bukola, I asked you to please educate us who gave his father Olusola, no answer.

Lastly, saraki said he came from Mali, I wish to also point it out to you that there is part of Yoruba history that claim Yorubas came from Mali, I don't see how what saraki claim is different from this account.

Please educate him. This tonychristopher guy is just a clown. I don't know who told him herbert macaulay is from seirra leone. We all know those are names from the slave trade era. Yorubas up till now bare names like savage, dacosta, williams, crowther, wellington, cole, johnson, thomas, craig etc.

I don't know where "tonychristopher" got the logic that the mother named him bukola. Its common knowledge that fathers name their kids in yoruba land and most tribes in Nigeria. So the man called olushola that he refers to as fulani also named his three other kids gbemisola, olaolu and bola. Both Olushola and Saraki are yoruba names. Kwara is just zoned to the north central, it is made up of over 50% yorubas and other tribes like baruten, tapa, fulani etc.

Having said that please let us drop this tribal issue. Bukola saraki is a Nigerian and qualified to be senate president so also his deputy ekeweremadu from the south east. APC leaders should bring down their ego and support them so we can all enjoy the dividends of democracy. Otherwise buhari's government may fail... God bless Nigeria

My brother saraki is a full yoruba man. His father and mother are both yoruba's and gave all their four kids yoruba names. Bukola, gbemisola, laolu and bola. The mum is a christian and MFM member that's why they don't bare muslim names. Check gbemi's facebook page you will see like for MFM on her profile.

North central is just a Geo political zone created by babangida and that doesn't mean everybody from there are fulanis. Kwara state is made up over 50% yorubas just like there are yorubas in kogi state(senator smart adeyemi that dino maleye defeated is from kogi state and a full yoruba man). Just like there are igbos is part of delta and rivers state(south-south). Just like there are yorubas in some parts of edo state(south-south).


So my brother bukola saraki is a full yoruba man from the North central.
This is one of the reason why the APC leaders didn't want him because a yoruba man is already the Vice president. I think we should all accept him as the new senate president because he will lead without religious sentiments having a christian mother and wife. He is also far better than lawan the APC annointed candidate. Toyin saraki his wife is also a successful lawyer from a royal family and daugther of renowned billionaire otunba and erelu ojuolape ojora of the famour ojora family in lagos. I also like the fact that he chose an ibo man as his deputy. This shows that he is also not tribalistic and want to ensure unity and equity in the senate.

Tinubu and the bunch of APC leaders should take a chill pill and accept the situation for peace to reign. They only chose lawan because they can't control saraki. Nigeria will not divide and this current dispensation will bring prosperity for our great nation in jesus name(amen)...

Please its better to find out facts before shooting on this forum and misleading the bulk of naïve young nairalanders. Ben bruce never wrecked NTA. Infact he revitalised the ailing station then and created more channels. During his time NTA was modernised and rebranded with new quality programs. He created a new logo and infused qualitative employees with educative, informative and entertaining programs. The bulk of NTA old employees didn't like him because of their civil service mindset and his dynamic approach, they didn't flow with him because he was brought from the private sector to lead them. Tony Iredia succeeded him, he changed the new logo ben created to the old logo which I have known with NTA dated back to the early 80's and NTA became boring again.


Ben was born into wealth as his dad was a senior manager at UAC(owners of the Mr Biggs franchise and several other top products like gala etc). His dad owns the Domino diner fast food chain and Domino stores chain which still exists today. The massive building which houses OZONE cinema yaba is owned by his dad. Ben was a successful business man before his short experience at NTA. Before NTA there was the MBGN(most beautiful girl in nigeria), he had a successful radio station, silverbird entertainment etc.

Please this man should be accorded some respect because he has created more jobs, created income for government through taxes than most of the present senators and this was achieved even before he became a politician.

You should blame the landlord and his lawyer. Why should a landlord charge agreement fee. Why should a landlord charge two years rent. Its not like that in other states where landlord collect only rent(except in some cases where nepa bill is added) so blame it on the real estate system in lagos. Commission was charged by the lawyer and he gives any agent who brings a tenant a small part of that commission. The more the rent, the more the commission. So please before you talk and mislead people on this forum, kindly sit down and think deeply. We are all business men and its not ethically right to distract potential clients. Thank you
