Its not a new thing in western media and the Notorious BBC to deliberately depict or portray Africa or Nigeria in pathetic Light. Thanks to them Africa is now Officially synonymous with poverty, disease and all things negative. These days I just feel very irritated by this DELIBERATE slander, as well as the fact that WE are not doing ANYTHING about it. Not even those based outside Nigeria who, as a results of this, face direct Insults and humiliation intermittently. Whats with this our victim mentality ehn?! Why do we just lie down there like idiots and allow anythin to fvck us anyhow from our own Government to the world outside? Are we just that fooolish or do we actually feel powerless against oppression ??This video was uploaded on April 3, from a recently released episode of the Family guy series. This was the last straw for me. Ive been harboring a plan to counter this kind of rubbish for a while now, and if u are also frustrated by these things pls speak up in comments and ill share the idea. Maybe we can make a difference FOR REAL! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNx3aMfG9Eo |

Abi is it Chris Oyakhilome thats now heading the Bank? Cos its Christ Embassy that tactically FORCES their members into doing stuff. One time I attended and they locked the gate on everyone saying u couldnt go out until the end of the programme. Another time I attended they were literally forcing everyone to register on one Yookos website like that. So when did Diamond Bank start employing such tactics ehn? |
Please, Diamond Bank people, what is the meaning of this? Just opened a savings account cos I wanted an actual SAVINGS account that wouldnt have any atm card or withdrawal book whatsoever. But the process was annoying (the staff couldnt really answer my questions satisfactorily- like whats ur interest rate etc) and when I didnt tick any box for credit card I was told they would still deduct credit card money anyway - which they did and nobody explained WHY! But the issue thats really pissing me off is that ever since, Ive been called to Download their app, which when I did go to their app on GoodlePlay people are complaining of all sorts of things in the review Section, besides i dont intend to do any transactions other than depositing money so I really dont need an app. I POLITELY explained these things to the lady but shes relentless in calling and very desperately forcing me to just Download and register- its like she could lose her job or something.... THIS IS WHAT I DONT UNDERSTAND! Why Is Diamond Bank doing this?? I DO NOT WANT THE APP- AND NOBODYS JOB SHOULD BE THREATHENED because OF THAT!! |

thornapple:Trekking Tinz dear. No driver. When I said "buckle" up I had shoes or sandals in mind ![]() |
Epositive:Thank you. But aren't those the ones with scary doctrines about post-apocalyptic resurrection just peculiar to them, that force their members to share books? really just need open-minded, doctrine-free people uniting to praise God and inspire one another. |
Let me describe the church: They aren't loud or very popular, instead they're more like a nuclear gathering of like-minded people who believe in praising God and sharing inspiration. They are somewhat calm and don't operate like your typical Nigerian Church with all their Doctrines. They aren't Christ Embassy, Redeem, Daystar, Winners, Cac, DCC, HOUSE ON ROCK, ETC. Not any of the churches u applaud or admire. They are way more simple. But their mode of worship is.......divine and refreshing...a breath of fresh air! I'd really appreciate if anyone can point me to any. I know I'd find them outside Nigeria, but I believe they are hidden within too (Since they don't make noise it may be hard to find them here tho) |
thornapple:Buckle up dear! its a long road ahead ![]() |
Humility017:Err...apology is not the same as remorse, bro. If he didnt forgive her maybe its cos her apology wasnt that sincere. Som people just say sorry to fulfil all righteousness- thats not enough in this case. |
Pearly255:Just cos it didnt end well dont mean he was a joker tho. maybe u guys just didnt work out, u know. or were there writings on the wall that u ignored initially? |
L0velyn:I feel ur pain dear. Don't mind all those people saying "be content" etc. If u want something, u want it! I've a friend who wanted bigger butt and she did get. Bigger boobs is impossible unless thru plastic surgery, but bigger but is very very possible. U won't get that ridiculous jiggling Timaya kinda bum, but u'll have the round, shapey, nice kind that Realistic people actually like. Tho u must be committed to the workout plan. It's kinda like trying to slim down- not very easy, but very rewarding. Can help u with instructions and materials if ure really that interested sha. |

Direct him to MMM head office ![]() But seriously, why is this an issue in the first place? Only u and him know what sort of relationship is between y'all. If u guys are the type that communicate well, u probably wouldn't even need to seek advice here. Cos u go don thrash the matter man to man ( whatever! U know what I mean) So that's my first observation. Solution: Does it look lyk u guys are gonna get married? No sentiments - just asses ur relationship for real. If u are already headed in that direction then discuss this issue with him boldly, openly stating ur concerns the way u wrote it here. Tell him that u don't want it to look lyk ure trying to bribe him or anything; that u just want the best for him as a friend and lover. So he better not allow any fooolish thots into that his big catfish head o! If he's a cool guy (like me, thank u, thank u ) he'll surely respect that, appreciate your efforts and love u more for it. In his eyes u are a PARTNER indeed. But if u guys have a very careful, uncertain, "sensitive" kind of relationship then u have to be more cautious: as in, GIVE ONLY IF YOU EXPECT NOTHING IN RETURN! AGAIN, IN THIS SECOND INSTANCE, GIVE ONLY IF U EXPECT NOTHING IN RETURN. No be say em go betray u like dat, but as ur relationship no dey sure, anything fit happen o! |
Wow. I'm really impressed Bro. Glad to see someone totally dedicated to creative works in Nigeria. I specialize in AudioMixing/Voiceover/video editing&Vfx (premier pro & aftereffect). Maybe we'll do some things together soon. By the way, what was the power of ur previous computer (resolution details) and how exactly did it crash- overworking or power failure? Nice knowing u. |
It's a part-time offer but you have to be resident in Lagos (for the occasional in-person interactions) Remuneration to be negotiated. It's an informal thing so just feel free to be you. What we need: Someone who really understands the workings of online social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc) but not necessarily a professional parse. If you have managed to grow your Facebook likes, Twitter followers etc to an admirable number, and you know exactly what and what you did to achieve that, then you are probably qualified. We simply want someone who understands the system (Male, Female, Bi, doesn't matter!) What we need you for: To grow some social handles organically (no fakes) within a reasonable period of time. We are going to have lots of visual and audio content for you to work with. Platforms would include Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and maybe Instagram. Please whatsapp or text this number with a handle you're growing or some other reference 08068004509. We just want to see what you can do first, no long story. Thanks. |
Thanks for viewing! If you are a lawyer or an experienced businessperson, please help with this. It's urgent! Can a registered business own (not like a subsidiary, but like a mother) a social group without a need to register that group separately? Let me expantiate..... Let's say I have a registered business named Goldman Sachs, and we're into T-shirts and other item s branding, can I float a social group (like an online thing) that, say, gives out free T-shirts, and then, as a publicity stunt, maybe get some skaters wearing these shirts and sharing to random people on the street in the name of that social group (which is based mostly online, and which is directly owned by Goldman Sachs, my Branding company) without offending the law? This social group does not directly engage in business transactions, neither does it have a physical address; it is 100% dependent on Goldman Sachs to operate at all. It is just a front, a hype, a loud-mouthed escort that gets attention. Is this a no-problem situation or are there legal concerns? If there are, what are they? That's my question. Hope my explanation is clear to you, but ask me if it isn't. Thanks in advance, for your response, lawyers and business experts! |
Trump is very hostile towards Africans generally. The guy is like a big-mouthed Hitler. And If his actions match his words (which, sadly, they tend to) then be prepared for some drastic negative actions in the coming years....or months. Nonetheless I'd pick him over drone Hillary. Just like I would have (still) picked Buhari over drone Jonathan. Yes, I said it! ![]() |

Oh but you can't blame the artistes. This issue is not just about music, it affects the whole creativity industry in Nigeria; from music to radio programs to Movies to Entertainment events and even Commercials. Do you think Nigerian advertising agencies cannot come up with stunning creative commercials like those breathtaking (Viral) adverts you see outside Nigeria? Ofcourse they can! It's just that the campaign would fail to achieve the exposure or attraction like it would abroad, because the general Nigerian audience would simply not "get" it because they don't want to think deep and hate to stress their brain. They would rather go for something simple and plain like Saka, Mama-do-good, Gerrarahere, caro, on-top-your-matter, kukere, bombom, Limpopo, bold5 babes, add your favorite stuff. Anything that won't stretch their mind or get them thinking. You get? The reason why deep lyrics and general creativity makes it abroad is because the audience appreciates it, so the artistes know they will be rewarded for all the time and effort they put into the work. But here we have seen too many artistes that started deep but later became shallow due to this fact. Even Inyanya started deep with that "Love Truly" track but the audience just scratched their head. Then he went loco with "kukere" and they started Laughig and paying him. So Please don't blame wizkid or any other Nigerian entertainer for doing "rubbish" cos Really, that's what people respond to in this part of the world. |

How do one recognize a joker
How do one differentiate KINGS, GREAT MINDS, REAL MEN from play boyz jokers
