Politics2018 Budget By Gods To Feast by Creativeempire(op): 1:17am On Jun 23, 2018
This year budget has created another exchange of tirade between two principalities – one domiciled in the Aso Rock villa and the other sitting inside the hallowed chamber. Year 2016 budget come with shout of padding being added to our political lexicon which resulted to gods suspending one of their own from coming to “shrine’’ for months. Jubrin Abdulmumin became the sacrificial lamb for raising alarm because all gods were angry with him. The following year budget of 2017 came with another mantra from the Emperor in the Aso Rock Villa alleging gods of inserting project “insertion” without discussion with the Villa’s Emperor.

The gods this year again did not only insert projects but cut down cost for projects, when the Emperor fired salvo at the gods for their act, gods reacted in unison through incantation a replicate of ‘’Fadeyi Oloro’’ in nollywood that ‘’we are not a rubber stamp parliament’’. They were not moved by Emperor’s allegations of cutting down cost for strategic projects that will help his consolidation on achievements of last budget.

EKITI 2018: ANOTHER BREAD AND BUTTER MOVE

By: Taiwo Adeyemi
'
Bread and Butter
O du pupo (it is very sweet)
Ma je ko gonna, ma je ko tutu (don't let it be cold, don't let it be hot)
Omode yi kilo mu? ( this little child which one do you choose?)

That was our song when we were playing some years ago. We were innocent to pick just one between bread and butter, we must help either our bread or butter group to drag our opponent over the drawn line. Loyalty to our preferred group irrespective of our leader is non-negotiable.

Politicians are bread,
they have influence, money, supporters and ambition. Their butter is interest. They can go against their political party when their bread is not buttered. They can dine with their arch enemies when their bread is buttered.

Prince Dayo Adeyeye, a former National Publicity Secretary of the major opposition party, People Democratic Party, a former Governorship aspirant of the party in Ekiti state decamped to his party rival, All Progressive Congress ahead of July 14th Governorship election in the state.

Dayo Adeyeye is a good bread in Ekiti state politics, he left defunt Action Congress in 2007 when his bread was not buttered because he lost the party ticket to Kayode Fayemi.

Adeyeye in his effort to enjoy eating his bread with enough butter in 2014 supported incumbent Governor, Ayo Fayose to unseat his new found lover Kayode Fayemi from office.

Fayose buttered Adeyeye's bread by making him Pro-Chancellor of Ekiti State University and later minister designated from the state. Adeyeye in his buttered voyage became State Minister of Works.

He was Fayose's Your Personal Person YYP, for a position in PDP National Working Committee ahead of the party National Convention in Portharcourt before mufti Ali Sheriff deflated their tyre.

Adeyeye was given seat in the flight of Ahmed Markafi led PDP caretaker committee as media "Sergio Ramos" to bring down all "Salahs" in APC and to punish mufti Sheriff for dragging the party in mud and legal battle.

He was Fayose trusted ally. Fayose that he called a dictator, corrupt and wicked Governor has buttered his bread before things fall apart between them.

Adeyeye is a great negotiator, he will demand for enough butter from Fayemi before decamping to APC, joining lightweight political party in the state will give Fayose an easy route to bring Olusola Kolapo Eleka to Governor's house, he has to join force with strong opposition to bring down Fayose.

He has positioned himself ahead of next Governorship election, if Fayemi emerged as Governor (fate only Ekiti people will decide), the Governor office will be zone to Ekiti south and he will be able to ask for another butter for his bread.

TIME TO DEMONIZE PDP IS NOW

By Taiwo Adeyemi

Interesting period in the political arena of a nation is a preceding year before an election, this is the year election is won and lost.

Ruling party will deplore all it lethal weapons to cripple any dissenting voice to it retaining power, opposition party won't sleep nor slumber to tell electorates how the ruling party has failed the nation.

Goodluck Jonathan lost election in 2015 in 2014, when he allowed five sitting Governors in People Democratic Party (PDP) to jump ship to then leading opposition All Progressive Congress (APC).

Jonathan was not tutored in University of Northern Politics, he failed in Notherners Political theory with course code 100, a prerequisite course for every man that dreamt to sleep in Aso Rock for a night as president.

His political friends from North didn't tell him how to win election in the region when one is not having Olusegun Obasanjo, the kingmaker anointing. He contested against northerners agenda, he lost and was ousted (Nothern politics is a topic for another day).

The only obstacle to President Buhari re-election next year is a formidable PDP. Only strong PDP can give Buhari run for his money next year. Presidency is ready to cripple PDP before Nigerians.

It has shown Nigerians that PDP is corrupt, PDP wasted and looted our treasury. Former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki was "Jay Jay Okocha" midfield maestro circulating security fund to every player to score Jonathan's world cup winning goal of returning to Aso Rock in 2015. He distributed passes to many "Rashidi Yekinis" like Raymond Dokpesi, Olisah Metuh, Femi Fani Kayode and all other players to score Jonathan's goal but majority of Nigerians having Attahiru Jega seconded from "FIFA" Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) called all their goals off-side. Jonathan's schemer is now cooling his feet in prison.

Former Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke was the most delectable waitress in Abuja, serving all guests around the country and some INEC officials "moet" through Nigeria National Petroleum Company treasury to retain Jonathan in the villa.

Diezani is allegedly suffering from cancer when Buhari wanted to ask her who gave her order to serve national moet for politicians. She was alleged to have helped herself to secure multi million properties around the world but Buhari with his claimed relationship with United Kingdom Government can't repatriate her home to face her day to day discovered crimes. She can be brought home on stretcher, others have been arraigned on it.

APC media handlers have been giving out bogus and mind blowing figures that were mismanaged and looted under PDP, amount of money that will make someone to calculate his salary for forty years, figures that will make someone trying to port to another country. Money that will make a hard-working man to look very lazy.

To make real it allegations, Anti-Graft Agency, Economic Financial Crime Commission has been bringing some PDP leaders, chieftains and Candidates to court. EFCC acting like our mother's looking for vanished meat, that will call all children one after the other, to smell their mouths, a cleaver child that stole the meat would have drank water to erase any trace of the vanished meat in his belly but our mother's will arrest the thief because of leftover meat hanging to his teeth, he will be punished and be beaten.

Dasuki and Diezani shared the cookies to many people, they have finished eating the cookies but their mouths is stain with the cookies oil.

Other opposing voices against APC and Buhari are not loud enough to get Nigerians attention. Ranting Kingsley Moghalu, Fela Durotoye, Omoyele Sowore and co are lightweight boxers challenging heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, we all know what will be outcome of the fight.

Obasanjo's Aide De Camp ( sorry African Democratic Congress) will follow Buhari to poll to observe the election. Using aging Gary Cahill in defence against fierce Lionel Messi will be a disaster, nobody should blame Thibaut Courtois if he conceded many goals.

Only a demonized PDP by APC will return Buhari to power in 2019.

"Sai Baba".

2019 ELECTION: MEDIA WAR OF ATTACK
By Taiwo Adeyemi

Obasanjo launched the first salvo against Buhari...

Belligerent Lai Mohammed wanted to reply Obasanjo but Buhari cautioned him to tell Nigerians what his administration has done in office.

Buhari can't tolerate Obasanjo attacks anymore, he has to fire his own missile. He told us Obasanjo mismanaged mind blowing $16 billion on power but we are still living in darkness.

Every party is harm with eloquent speakers and fierce writers...

Lai Mohammed that Buhari group can boost of in his kitchen cabinet, opposition can provide it in Femi Fani Kayode.

If Lai can call Jonathan administration looters, Fani will call Buhari administration son of Beelzebub.

If Garba Shehu can show his loyalty to Buhari by attacking any Anti-Buhari posture, Reno Omokri won't stop defending Jonathan and give it back to his attacker.

I know we are all enjoying the drama cum madness. Let keep savoring it before we go to poll.

PoliticsIs PDP Now A "BORN Again" Political Party? by Creativeempire(op): 4:21pm On May 10, 2018
IS PDP NOW A "BORN AGAIN" POLITICAL PARTY?

By: Taiwo Adeyemi

When Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus apologized to Nigerians for impunity, imposition and mistakes of his party while in saddle of the nation's affairs for sixteen consecutive years, some of us take his apology as another political bait deployed by the party to regain power in 2019. Some political analysts said PDP is like a biblical old wine, in new bottle that PDP can never return to its founding fathers dreams of a political party where power will belong to people and adherent to internal democracy.

PDP a self-acclaimed largest party in the whole of Africa, it ruled the most populous black nation in Africa for sixteen unbroken years, PDP that was embraced as a national party in 1999 against all other political parties that looked like regional warlords.

PDP derailed from its founding fathers vision when it allowed Governors on his platform to become Emperors, they were the de facto ministers. Governors were calling shots in the party, turning states to their empires. Any dissenting voice against a sitting Governor must be taken to political guillotine.

PDP glorified god fatherism. Late Lamidi Adedibu alamala politics in Oyo state where a sitting Governor Rasidi Ladoja, was impeached illegally because he refused to play ball of sharing state allocation with Baba Adedibu.

I met one of the house of assembly members that impeached Ladoja few years ago, I asked him when did they impeach Ladoja. He told me Ladoja was ungrateful to Baba because Baba helped him to become a Governor and he reneged on their agreement. He deserved to be impeached and he can't apologised to anybody for supporting Baba to remove Ladoja. That could happen in PDP. Anambra state was theatre of way between Govenor Chris Ngige and his estranged god father, Chris Uba. It was supreme court judgment that saved the state from anarchy because the Governor was kidnapped.

Edo state gave the nation a powerful king maker. Chief Tony Anenih, a renowed Mr fix it. He decides who to get what in Edo state and must be consulted in Abuja before the party will take decisions.

It was in PDP that money politics was embraced in Nigeria. Money to party leaders, party Elders, party Delegates, vote buying and money for god fathers. Doctrine of money must exchange hands to have the party ticket crawled into Nigeria democracy. Rasidi Adeojo will be in best position to tell story of his ordeal in Adedibu's hand in his futile attempt to be Governor of Oyo state. PDP is/was party for the highest bidder.

The battle to secure PDP ticket was more fierce than the actual election. Once a politician secures the party ticket, he can go home to sleep because victory is sure through crook (rigging) or right way.

PDP institutionalized rigging in Nigeria in connive with corrupt officials of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Prof. Maurice Iwu comes to mind, Iwu helped the party to do the rough work. Ballot box snatching, killing and maiming of opponets that tried to prevent PDP thugs from carrying out their ungodly acts everywhere. Amputated leg at Governorship electoral tribunal in osun state gave credence to this. I met a man that told me he was attacked by a PDP politician in Osun state because he told him he won't allow rigging at his polling unit. It was appeal court verdicts that restored stolen mandate from PDP in Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Edo and Anambra states.

Has PDP changed from his bad ways to good ways? Has PDP embraced democracy as game of number and not game of live ammunition?. Answers for now look affirmative. PDP conducted a transparent, free and fair Governorship primary election in EKiti state that produced incumbent Deputy Governor, Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka. Eleka's opponent at the primary election, Prince Dayo Adeyeye agreed that the election was fair and he didn't have any problem with the outcome.

I was watching the election live on television. When Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state declared the winner, I was telling myself that where All Progressives Congress in the state has failed and embarrassed his followers across the nation (with news of sacrifice in front of the party state secretariat everyday, no agreed format for the primary election), PDP has triumphed and showed a sign of a repented party.

Delegates appeared in uniform (Aso ebi) according to their local government irrespective of aspirants they were supporting shows PDP now sees politics as a service to humanity not a do or die affair has proclaimed by their former leader (you know him).

Many issues might have worked for PDP in Ekiti state. Zoning of the office to a particular senatorial district which streamlined number of aspirants, two aspirants contested in the election which make it easier for the committe to manage the process and commitment to rebrand it damaged image by the party.

It is a matter of time if the party can build on this success in osun state with over thirty aspirants that have shown interest to take over from Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

A statement credited to Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha that Ndigbo (South Easterners) should support President Muhammadu Buhari re-elction bid to enable the region produce next president in 2023.

It is very sad that we are in a Nation that is beleaguered with high rate of unemployed youths, high rate of maternity death, epileptic power supply and myriads of national crisis without any signal of hope.

Governor Okorocha has the right to support his party candidate, he has right to campaign for his candidate re-election bid but he should place his candidate scorecards before his people not cajoling them to support him for them to have a taste of the exalted office .

The South East has been marginalised, I have been marginalised, we are all been marginalised. There is a gulf between the rich and the poor in Nigeria state, there is a wide gap between politicians and citizens. Living standard between leaders and citizens is wide.

Public Office holders have access to medical treatment (tourism) abroad through our commonwealth, they have rendered our teaching hospitals to glorified mortuaries. What do one expect when Aso Rock villa Clinic with huge amount of budgetary allocation lacks needle and syringe? Federal Government jobs is being shared by politicians and their friends while children of the masses where told to return to farm or to learn handiwork because no place for them in the Federal Civil Service.

These are issues Gov. Okorocha should talk about. He should tell the Ndigbo and Nigerians at large how his Bwana has delivered on his campaign promises. His party campaigned in 2015 on three agenda - Security, Anti corruption and Economy. He should ask Nigerians if his party has delivered it promised dividend of democracy.

History has shown since return to Democracy in 1999 that past presidents were not fair to their geo-political zone while in power. Olusegun Obasanjo from south/south-west eight years in office didn't repair Lagos-Ibadan expressway, he didn't find a solution to Niger Delta crisis, it was late Musa Yar'dua from north/northwest that found solution to restlessness in Niger Delta.Goodluck Jonathan from south/south-south that started repair of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. President Goodluck Jonathan from the south/south south didn't start ogoniland clean up, it was President Buhari from North/North-West that started it (you call it political propaganda).

Nigeria will clock two decades of democracy rule without military intervention next year, we are now beyond politics of my kinsman must be elected because he is from my region, we are supporting a candidate for an office to allow our own region produce the next occupier of the office mantra has faded, no more supporting a candidate because of shared religion or ethnic group.

First term election is base on faith and truth electorates have in a candidate but second term election is base on previous and proven performance in office. Gov.
