1. APPLICATION FOR 2022/2023 ADMISSION
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following programmes of the College under the Open, Distance and Flexible e-Learning (ODFeL).

Special Features

All the programmes are flexible and designed to give learners the freedom to deal with office, business, family and other constraints that are associated with conventional face-to-face modes of study.

The programmes are suitable for Office and Factory Workers, Housewives and Businessmen/Businesswomen in addition to young generation of learners that wish to learn outside the walls of a classroom.

Special Benefit

A Certificate of Entrepreneurship will be awarded to successful students at the end of their programmes as an addition to their ND Certificates.

2. GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC/NECO and NABTEB or its equivalent) with at least five (5) Credits obtained at not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English, Mathematics and three (3) relevant subjects from the minimum entry requirements specified in the current JAMB Brochure.

3. DURATION

The minimum duration for National Diploma (ND) is four (4) Semesters i.e. two (2) Sessions.

4. METHOD OF APPLICATION

Applicants for any of the programmes above are to pay a processing fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only, excluding the result verification fee (where applicable) and any other transaction charges.

- Payment can be made online or in the bank.

- The College does not accept cash payment.

5. INSTRUCTION TO APPLICANTS

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Five (5) years Programme (100 Level)
a. Five (5) ‘O’ Level credits or it's equivalent which must include English Language and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings.

INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS
(i) Application for Part-Time Admission/Registration on Jamb Portal
This is to inform Part Time candidates that application for Part Time Admission is available on JAMB Portal. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has made it mandatory for candidates applying for admissions into non-regular Programmes in any tertiary institution in the country to do so through JAMB and be eligible for a JAMB Admission letter. This will allow the concerned candidates to have their admission processed on JAMB CAPS.

(ii) Guidelines for Application for Part-Time Admission/Registration on JAMB Portal
· Create a JAMB Profile
· Visit any JAMB Centre
· Apply for Part Time Admission on JAMB Portal to generate your JAMB Registration number
· Pick Yaba College of Technology as the Institution of choice
· Pick a Course of preference
· Correction of name(s) must be done before accessing JAMB Portal for Part-Time Admissions/Registration.
· Name(s) on your O’Level results will be the Bench Mark for Registration.
· Registration for Part Time Admission on JAMB Portal is compulsory for all Part Time candidates.

The campus of preference should be clearly indicated by candidates for programmes that run in both Yaba and Epe Campuses.

Candidates applying for part-time HND should ensure that their transcripts of the ND programme reach the Office of the Registrar, Yaba College of Technology within six weeks from the date of this publication.

If you intend to write PE 1 as your next examination, you will have to get your own study pack as it is part of the registration.
You can get the pack for preparation towards the examination but you will still have to get yours when you want to register for the examination.

Sir, I do not think its necessary, u get your pack. You can get study pack from anyone. All that is required of you is just to read and pass the exam.
