plug the modem, then try uninstalling the driver from device manager>modems>huawei mobile connect...and try installing back by unpluging and pluging back in

please help!! my computer is not detecting my modem anymore. i used my mtn modem last night but i had to shut down cos i had to go to bed. waking up this morning start my computer and plugged my modem but my computer is not recognizing it. I've tried several times but it's still not recognizing it. the removable disk icon is showing on the task bar but not on my computer and the etisalat fast link programme is not coming up automatically. when i launched fast link there was no network signal. Pls i'm confused i don't know what else to do. What should i do?

Make sure d battery is atleast 40% charged, then removed from the laptop and both should be stored in a cool and damp free place

It could be the sound drivers needs to be re-installed. Try downloading the audio driver for your particular system from the manufacturers website

Cost may vary depending on the technician you take it to. The repair may not require them to buy any part so the cost should be low

Good morning sir, Please what could be the problem of my lappy.

Day b4 yestiday night when i was surfing the internet, I got tired so i left my pc on with moderm connected to it,Mozillar browser and Ucweb were Open.

I wake up around 4am to continue from where I stopped. The cap Lock light and F12 light were on so i thought it enter sleep mode. . I press the key board so that it can start. My PC refuse to show light on the screen.

I remove the battery and put it back. . Is still not showing light on the screen. I drop it and go back to bed.

In the morning I start it again, it work perfectly. . I use it for like 2hours b4 I shut it down. When i want to use it again i start it. It doesn't display anything on the screen.

I disturb it small b4 it shows on the screen and tell me my Pc has ran Into a problem like that like that.

Now it doesn't display on the screen it only shows light on the key board.

Please what could be the problem of my PC.

That's a problem with the power jack, you have to take it to a technician for repairs

My Asus hardly charge except when I press the tip of the charger firmly into the port but it stops charging if I release my hand. The plastic part of the tip of the charger is melting gradually and the metal part very hot after some hours of charging. It could be the headphone jack is faulty or just try using a different headphone if that helps

It could be that the new screen that was fixed for you is not the right one for your laptop model, cos a replacement screen has to be exact for it to work perfectly, any slight variation can affect its functionality, you could also try checking your resolution settings

the screen of my lenovo ideapad E10-30 was damaged but when i changed it the screen resolution was not at optimum again.now the maximum resolution i can get is 1024*600 instead of 1024*768 i got before..please i need help on how to upgrade my screen resolution to 1024*768 as this lower resolution is seriously affecting my work (not that i have tried doing it via screen resolution the traditional way but the maximum i got is 1024*600)..

that looks like a gpu (graphics processing unit) issue, it is normally caused by overheating of the system which tends to unsolder the gpu chip, you have to give it to a technician to repair the gpu chip

Thanks a lot the fan spins normally, no boot screen(blank screen) caps lock starts blinking and after about 3mins fan speed becomes very high and loud. Cd drive ejects normally. The funny thing is after 3 month of this issue(laptop left in the drawer) I powered it just yesterday and it boot normal I used it for good 18hrs switched it on and off over and over run heavy programs and it worked perfectly but only for the problem to start this morning again.

Explain in details, does it boot normally with the fan spinning and lights on but no display or just the caplock light?

Hello nairalanders please my hp ts15 n088nr just stop booting caps lock led keeps flashing. Even the bios is not coming up, I have tried a different ram, reset my bios with no positive result please I need assistance very urgent!!!
