Just maybe Hamas no longer have any more hostages alive to exchange ![]() |
jmoore:My curiosity all along. |
Eriokanmi:Once a man has gotten to certain peak, even if he losses his money to ill health or scam, it's an oddity to become a gateman. He can fall, but the exposure, contacts, ideas, Did he forge his credentials or something? If No, then what really happened to him that he can't replicate his earlier strides? |
Samantha125:I think it's better if the Original Post ask that people include the tribes in their comments. Just imagine that a tribe actually 'fully' furnishes the groom's house? The tribe needs to be known and commended. We need to know that tribe and 'fully' commend their culture by making sure all their single women get married. Nlfpmod |
Samantha125:No empathy? |
dollyjoy:Especially 'peculiar'. Unlike Akara, I'm not sure there are any other places you find it. Now, to the food you owe me.. I want to eat Banga |
fman:I like your signature. It's something to be proud of. |
If true, comrades are happy for/with you. But this private news has no business being in public space, IMO. |
Endorsed. Fully supported. |
dollyjoy:Let me make a guess. If I'm correct, you owe me a plate of food. You live anywhere else but any of the states in the South West. |
It's just so sad how easily the lady tries to evade her wrongdoing in the sitting arrangements by throwing in a very weighty sexual allegation. One may be wrong but the entire matter feels like she's simply shifting focus from her own wrongdoing. But then, why such heavy accusation? From a neutral seat, I just think she's paying the victim card ![]() |
The flow of the vehicles were all good, until the waste truck's sharp swerve at 0:4sec of that video. The red car was not the culprit, the waste truck is. |
Nonsense. You can kidnap people and incarcerate them aagainst their will, but you cannot stay in prison. Wonder why his case that carries life sentence has not be concluded. |
On one lip, she doesn't love you. On the other, what gift should you buy for her? You're a contradiction. |

I respect the right to self-determination, but how you decide to go about becomes a concern. There has to be a diplomatic wing to your struggle. While there are usually guerrilla kind of militancy, there should be people going to the negotiations table on behalf of your cause. They really need to rethink the whole approach. At the very least, your approach shouldn't kill your own people and take away their means of livelihood. |
voortrekker966:Nor be that one abdicate throne follow woman go?.. Weyrey plenty for this world sha ![]() |
PressMyButton:So terrorists killed a Major and 16 soldiers, you packed up and left that area to terrorist control for 6 years?! Sometimes, one wonders the kinds of things one reads from different angles of this country. They killed your officers.. Is that not enough reason to make sure you defeat them and flush them out? But see what they did to that village in Bayelsa (or so) that killed some soldiers Smdh at our Military guys. |
geoworldedu:I could care less about what or who the first lady is. I don't give a hoot. Well, I'd agree with you about the politicians. But the fact that Nollywood has a broader, visual "ready viewing" and accepting audience makes it appear more in people's consciousness. |
Nollywood has always been a bad influence. Glamorising the luxury blood money/ritual killings can fetch you for 89minutes the use 1min to show the person becoming mad, The End. You watch other movies, you see protagonists doing incredible heroic acts or other meaningful storyline that can influence the audience positively. Nigerian movies na largely ritual killings, blood money, cultism and occultism. The Yoruba version must have juju or at least one person talking like an agbero. Thrashy scripts everywhere. |
I am particularly happy for the traditionalists. Because they would have been receiving the most brutal end of the sharia stick. Chief Imam, please do not forget that there should be an agenda to claim back Ilorin. Start now. Possibly within this century, the move would have gathered momentum and successfully achieve it. To traditional institutions, something should be said about the Oba of Iwo bearing the title 'Emir'. |
epainos:The religion is aggressively expansionist in nature. It's a reason I fear for the entire South West. Perhaps an Ilorin muslim will one day take back that place for the Yoruba. |
Weldone Lagos! Eko o ni baje. |
APC with their stale style of politics. They are planting all these guys as moles in the different parties. They'd suddenly become embattled in their party. They'd decamp to a party, tell all manners of sordid stories about their former party in a move to convince party hierarchy/members for genuine acceptance. Unsuspecting party members will believe they are truly aggrieved with their former party, then put them in sensitive caucuses and in fact, give them party tickets. All Na lie. Moles! They are foot soldiers to make sure opposition camps don't pose any serious threats and ferry information back to their home party APC. They are not there to win, they are there to make sure you don't win. Amaechi himself kicked-started this particular move by that speech he made. I had a good laugh watching the Lagos State PDP's candidate in the last elections. Funny guy! |
The sultan should be reminded that it is the muslims themselves in South West that do not want sharia, not the governors. Hello sultan, why did you not speak out against the intolerance meted out to Traditionalists in Ilorin and Osun states, and other non-muslims in Oyo. What did you say when those you preside over killed non-muslims in obvious acts of intolerance. Should blasphemy not be for muslims who say blasphemous things about same religion they practice? |
The enslaved is talking about rejecting 'mental slavery' lol! Bro says Ooni and the Alaafin can be dragged but contends that sultan is above being told not to incite intolerance in the South West. So much for someone calling others "sub-literates" ![]() |
Quelme:You must a criminal in whatever field you are in. Tracing your IP shouldn't be difficult. And tracking you with it subsequently will not be rocket science. |
Hand go still touch those ones in Yemen. Time. |
Are you tolerant in Ilorin, in Osogbo and in that other remote village in Oyo where you segregate even in the marketplace ? The persecutions of the traditionalists in those places are yet to be addressed. Are you tolerant to those who you regard as blasphemous and infidels? Your leaders all support killing, burning, beheading of fellow human beings because they are not of your religion. That Bashir guy is a open example that proudly supports beheading of fellow humans. After instilling fear in people, you still term them Islamophobic and behead them for being scared of you! Totally ridiculous. Are you tolerant to your hosts all over the world with the constant stabbing, beheading of host countries 'citizens all over the world? How tolerant are you in the first place? |
Edusouls: What in the Lawd's name did I just read?! Smdh. |
mach7:Ok. So does the constitution say they hold elections during wartime? |
There will be more in the coming weeks about this immediate quiet. Farotimi is probably quiet as part of an agreement to end the issue and in respect to those who stepped in between. I always thought even if Dele Farotimi lost the case, the expose would not be good on Afe Babalola and the legal profession in Nigeria. Would have been a very embarrassing, dirty fight. Well, good it was avoided. |

. Ask those millionaires of yesterday, driving company directirs who are old enough to be their children today. Some are gatemen in lagos today. I spotted one recently who used to be a director at Standard Breweries in Ibadan in the 90s, the Breweries belonging to Bode Akindele known for the popular Club Beer in that era. He was such a young and promising production manager and the only black man in the group. Standard Breweries shut down operations and he joined another company where he was promoted a director in lagos.
