The current terror is just an attempt to scare the Yoruba eventual retake over of Kwara.
The retake of Ilorin/Kwara will happen, only a matter of time.
And Tinubu can help set it back in motion. |

Lukuluku69: You have a point but the issue is this, should a 63 year old Pastor of a Church be seen with any one aside his wife in a hotel severally? This angle is moral sentiment, not law. She's above 18, so it's not statutory rape, not defilement. They're both adults. Like someone mentioned above, how do you continuously rape an adult many times more than once in an hotel? And court slams him, not just jail term, but life imprisonment?! Sometimes, it feels like these judges have too much power. |

callthefred: Justice Oshodi and always sentencing men for rape. Same with Baba Ijesa. I suspect the victim was pressured by her family to claim it was rape because how do you rape someone more than once? Not defliement, not underaged. Yet, life imprisonment?! Fishy things stink. |

One wonders why FIFA wants to be needlessly woke.

Some issues men get dragged into are totally avoidable. |

Reminds me of the movie "Rules of Engagement". Armed men wore mufti and hid in the midst of civilian protesters. Samuel L Jackson opened fire when the terrorists with AK-47 hidden were going to shoot at them.
Back to this, any evidence these people are not their military in mufti?
Else, why will a country knowingly put civilians in harm's way? |

Are you sure that you know the definition of news? Chief Naptu, I hold you in high regard. I read the interests you have in sports, especially writing on our sportswomen. I have known about many of their career exploits through your writings. At the core of this thread is to show pictures of her wedding with fellow woman. To what end? Knowing well that the practice is criminal within our shores. It will not be wrong for anyone to conclude this thread is glamourising same sex marriage. |

Politics › Re: El-Rufai Arrives Kaduna Court Amid Heavy Security, Journalists Barred (Photos) by CrownedPhoenix: 11:48am On Mar 24 |
Lanruze: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu made one of the biggest Political mistakes of his regime through the trial and optics sent by the prolonged incarceration of Mallam Nasir El-rufai.
The core Muslim North has by default integrated Prof. Pantami and Mallam Nasir El-rufai into the Caliphate dynamics. This simply means amongst the core Muslim North Nasir El-rufai and Isa Pantami have a sage status.
Irrelevant and oppourtnist Politicians like the Gov. of Kaduna - Uba Sani and Sen. Shehu Sani continue to magnify the inadequacies of El-rufai pitting him against PBAT.
His influence amongst the Muslim North is significant and PBAT knows that within that zone it's difficult to rig elections even through the Governors.
The Sultan of Sokoto himself who is the Supreme leader of all Muslims in Nigeria and Head of the Caliphate knows this fact.
The polls in 2027 will be a sweet revenge platform to display this grievance against PBAT.
El-Rufai to the core Muslim North is who Buhari was Pre- 2015.
The most unfortunate misstep was allowing him spend the whole of the fasting period - The holy Month of Ramadan in Incarceration.
That may be unforgivable by his ardent and huge followership. The north love terrorists and award them the sage status. I agree Tinubu should have applied less optics in handling him. |
