Business / Re: FCCPC Shuts Chinese Supermarket Over Discrimination In Abuja by CrownedPhoenix: 5:57am On Apr 23
Maybe there's something covert going on in the background there.

jmoore:
Was the supermarket setup to even make profit?

How many Chinese dey for Abuja compared to Nigerians?

Worth a thought.

I had wondered how they intended to make profit.

There has to be something sinister or outright illegal going on in there

Politics / Re: PDP NWC Submits Reports On Wike As NEC Meets Thursday by CrownedPhoenix: 6:51am On Apr 17
I liked his stance on moving presidential candidacy to the South as that was the common sense thing to do.

But the way he is conducting himself so far hints to how he would have been as a president.

I really want to see how this plays out.

But how on earth can one man hold the entire PDP down nationwide and nobody can talk?

This is highly embarrassing for all members of that party.

Even Hitler, with all his military might, failed.

He has not been convicted of the said crime, I guess?

I am a young girl of 22 and I live with my step mom and dad , its not been too pretty but I'm used to it .
But I want to move out by January 2024 , starting on a new page , I work as a social media manager and brand manager for a hair company and I've gotten money for my rent.
For 1 year rent.

Being in my house is having a toll on my mental health , I've run away many times but I'm not running anymore , I am going to live in the same town as my family.
Rent and cost of living is more affordable , I have savings that I don't have access to right now .

I am using this medium to ask for any help that any one from any where can offer.
Not money oh

Prayers , advice , and maybe old furniture , home appliances that are sitting around anywhere .

My mental health is getting weaker and weaker and I don't want to move in with a stranger , I was exploited by one because of my circumstances , and for the fact that I was working and she was a student.

My location is Ogu /bolo town
Rivers state , near Onne

I'm not visible to evil eye but I hope the right people see this

Hello

So how did it go?
Politics / Re: Douye Diri: Palliatives Not Solution To Hardship by CrownedPhoenix: 8:34am On Apr 01
I am yet to understand the importance of 'Palliatives'

Govt will increase pump price of petrol that affects over 200m people, then offer 50 buses as palliatives or after prices of food items sky rocket, govt will stock warehouses with indomie as palliatives.

I am yet to understand what real effect palliatives have.

Who are you asking to stop the bullshit is it the same nimc management that created, aided and abated the website as a side hustle or is the nimc staff members in various locations who are supposed to register and issue us with temporary photocopy of our ID freely but instead collects N1000 from everyone

If you refuse to pay to get your nin because its illegal to pay to get it then you'll become an alien there and then....😁 even other fellow Nigerians will say "hin own too much.....how much be N1000", the kind ones will offer to pay for you so you stop stressing yourself because of poverty. Only God can help us in this cuntree grin

Interesting.

How Putin's Russia quickly became the Hitler's Germany of old is still a mystery.

One thing is certain though, the war will be long and hard. But Russia will not win it.

They just cannot win it.

Putin is too reactionary. US is probably, knowingly, goading Russia in to war.

One sees where the OP is coming from.

Perhaps, to say that a widow deserves more regard than being grouped with 'single mother' women who have kids outside wedlock because she originally had a husband.

Alternatively, maybe single parent? undecided

I think that in these cases of murder for ritual, the 'baba' that told them to get these things should also be arrested and prosecuted.

You tell somebody to go and bring human eyes, where do you expect him to get it without committing a serious crime?

Recover waiting ? He should ask yakubu what happen to him after that open miss against Korea for world cup SA 2010

For one, Yak was already an old man and could handle certain situations better than a young boy of Iwobi's age bracket.

Secondly, social media was not this much of a monster.

So no, I doubt Yakubu received this much mean trolling

Who told you he lost his self esteem and stopped believing in himself?

I’m glad I’m not a public figure, the power people assume they have on others is hilarious

Dude deleted social media posts, considered quitting the national team. At some point his other team members and league manager had to publicly encourage him.

So yes, it had some telling on his esteem.

Congratulations to them!

Hopefully, this goes a long way to recover the lost self esteem after the trolling he got for his performance at AFCON

Perhaps he can find reasons to believe in himself again.

Perhaps he was not dead by the time his gang members took him away. If he was truly shot dead, why would they carry away his dead body?

Well, possible same gang members for other reasons would later strangle him to death. He may have become a liability to them or next-in-line wanted supremacy
