Hello everyone, started following the France thread two weeks ago.

I submitted my application on the 27th of April
Passport received at France embassy 28th
Passport picked up by UPS on the 4th of May. I got my passport yesterday. 30 days validity but 10days stay. I will be going to Netherlands for a conference for 7 days.

Introduction letter from board of directors .

Flight itinerary
Hotel Reservation
Insurance for 10days
SOP- Travelling to speak at a conference. Organizer's are paying.
Expired Relevant Visas- Slovakia, UK,US, Ireland
Current Relevant Visas- US,Canada

Hello pls advise me. I applied for evisa on 15th August to attend a 3days conference to start this weekend and I had to book my return flight because it was one of the criteria on the form. Up until today Friday have not received the visa the status says "Ready Batch" can I still proceed on the trip to SA like that and maybe get visa on arrival at the airport or make an appeal there. The organisers of the conference has sent mail to the Consular and all no response

I gave up on the DHA Site and used the VFES which was very straight forward, the only pain was having to pay more.

Don’t believe anybody deceiving you guys on here. I submitted my SA VISA application in Abuja on August 5th and I got a Text/Email today that my Visa is out and on it’s way back to me in Lagos. Be it approval or denial. It took a month for everything to be out.

So my US visit visa interview was today tuesday 5/07/2022 for 10.00am

Me: 5 days from 29th Oct to 4 November 2022

Me: The organizer in the US as I am one of their travel grant awardee.
VO: Where do you work?
Me: I work with xxxxx and I am XXXXXX post since 2013
VO: So you are XXXXXX
Me: Yes
VO: Are you married
Me: Yes
VO: Is your wife here in Nigeria

VO: Children?
Me: One, a son
VO: Is son here in Nigeria

VO: I have approved you visa, pick it up between 5 to 7 days at this location. VO handed me the white paper

Note as many were refused, others were approved. A naval officer in uniform was refused with his wife and kid
A business man was refused with his wife and 3 kids
Others approved included a old lady, a mother with 3 children, a husband and wife. Only 3 booths were used for the interviews. My message is just be confident and be familiar with DS 160 form. Be prepared to answer any questions convincingly. Noted they hardly check documents except where necessary. Good luck to the applicants in the house.

I have a tips that can work for DIYers (Tested and Trusted TWICE me and my wife). Please find out day of the week that your preferred location do productions before you pick a capturing date.
For instance, Ibadan produce every Tuesday of the week, so Monday is best capturing day. Go to the location 2-3days to open file , and find an officer that can help you capture in time(without paying a dime). Then ask him if he can fast track...10k to 15k is all that will cost you to collect your passport the following day. I promise you. Online payment: 27k + 15k= 42k total package. Not a bad deal if you want to pay for fast track

Me yes April this year and the one before was April 2018.
Vo: okay Visa grated.
That was my session. Didn’t ask more on the conference.
I am glad it went well.

Hello everyone,
My emergency visa request was approved but the site shows "there are currently no available date". The deadline for my Emergency visa request is May 18th.
Please who knows the time the visa slots are available?
Please help

My mum was invited for medical attention in the US because we did a scan and discovered she has a brain mass. She was booked for interview on 19th April to be accompanied by my brother who is single but doing a good job. We had all medical papers from a US neurologist and our Nigeria sealed medical letter and all her lab examinations including MRI. Unfortunately she was denied Visa and we are still shocked to what could be the problem. We want to book for another emergency interview date but please we want to get it right this time. My brother said the lady that interviewed them said the US Doctor should state the cost of the treatment. Should we go with statement of account as my sister over there promise to take charge of the treatment and she put it in her invitation letter sent but still they denied us visa.

What else should we do or provide and do you think the denial was because of my brother who is single and have not travelled before.

That will be a B1 visa if it visit is strictly for that conference. If it thinking of also doing tourism, u can do the hybrid B1B2 which is a mixture of business/work related conference and tourism

Fill it form online and get an interview date where the the real hard work is. Earliest date for interview appointment now is early 2024. If ur lucky, u can get any in 2023 or late 2022 (not impossible).

Once u get the date and attend, decision is instant after the interview.
