FEK17:Judging from how your maths doesn't add up, I believe we can also not believe your post. |
Post one video that has a tribal tilt and watch the youths make it go viral. We can't even think of why the poster mentioned Jimi Agbaje. This is 2015 all over again ![]() The politicians must be smiling at how gullible we can be. |
For the first time in a very long time, I had to log on to Nairaland to comment. It saddens me to note the level of tribal hatred that we youths have developed and how easy it is for politicians to manipulate this to their favour. Years after the civil war nothing has been done to heal the wounds of our nation and the youths carry the touch of hate to be passed on to another generation. Please let's consider the timing of this video and the connection being made to Jimi Agbaje(how did Jimi Agbaje come into this matter?) and you will begin to understand the true intend of the man who posted this video. This is coming just before the Lagos state elections, and Jimi Agbaje is considered to enjoy a large support from the igbo community in Lagos, hence the violence witnessed in Okota during the presidential elections. The video is once again trying to sell the narrative, as was the case in the last Lagos state elections, that it is a war between the igbo and the yoruba to see who becomes governor of Lagos. Shamefully from the comments here the video is succeeding. I think this is a very desperate attempt to hold on to power by APC. Lagos is full of enlightened people but as long as we let tribalism to impair our judgement, our nation and Lagos will never rise to it's true potential. Wake up! JIMI IS NOT AN IGBO MAN. His election hurts only those who have vested interest in Lagos |
Do not buy those shoes for him!! I think he should be able to send the money to you and I hate it when people make these things a basis of deciding whether to continue the relationship or not. Some guys get married and feel the lady should bank-roll their expenses. some will not be responsible for providing for their homes because the lady is willing to spend. That kind of attitude, all starts with small requests that have these conditions attached. |
Evil company corrupts good morals. So you decide if you want to end up like her. |
Thats true but that shouldn't discourage us from doing good anyway loomer: |
I do and am Ibo |
I watched in shock an advert by the GEJ campaign team, neighbour to neighbour. the advert listed the reasons for pple being corrupt in nigeria as being due to high cost of living, high cost of health care due to individual's seeking health care from private hospitals(the advert went ahead to put down health care offered in public hospitals and rightly so), need to fuel generators due to poor power supply etc. it then listed what Jonathan seeks to provide and lastly states that EFCC AND ICPC will prosecute corrupt officers. On face value it's a nice advert right? Wrong! just think abt it for a minute and ask some questions- 1. Who had d responsiblity of providing these infrastructure that has not done so? Was not PDP THE GOVT in power? is Jonathan finally admitting dat PDP failed to perform in these areas? 2. This advert explains corruption. We need to fight it! It tells us corruption is due to hardships faced by d individual. Can u imagine that! Who does not face these hardships? I wonder if this reasoning is what GEJ believes in, then if he had held a political office ' having been born poor and without shoes' as his other advert says, he would have ended up corrupt! 3. Lastly it states dat Anti-corruption agencies are there to deal with corrupt officials. That means business as usual! In d recent past what have these agencies done? all these coming from a party where some of it's members celebrate a released corrupt official, VOTE WISELY. Vote BB 2011 |
