You are as dumb as a door knob.

Is it the house that could not stop Trump from exercising his immigration policies that will stop him from designating Nigeria hostile?

Once again sir, You are dumb as a door knob.

The US benefits from Germany, UK as long term allies and partners against NAZI and Russian aggression. It has no such relationship with Nigeria.

rubbish talk. HIV is funded by NGO's like Bill Gates foundation, WHO, etc, and not the American govt.
USAID is a major supplier of medical rsource to Nigeria. Even the WHO is funded to a very large extent by america.

Bill gates is an american. There is a law that forbid americans from doing business with or funding '''hostile govts''. If you think Bill gates is operating in a vacuum, then you are ignorant.

All it takes is for the US Government to exercise patriot law, designates Nigeria as ''hostile'' and all the Bill gates funds will stop coming.

You are misguided.

Nigeria did not vote for Palestine.Nigeria Voted for an already. Existing resolution, whilst voting against USA Rebellious declaration:

West Jerusalem for Israel
East Jerusalem for Palestine.

Is this not justice?

Remember, majority of inhabitants of East Jerusalem, are Palestinians!

You can vote for whatever you like . It is not my business, really.

The US also has a right to fund whoever they will and de-fund whoever they will.

Stop stressing your brain with conspiracy theories. US stopped buying Nigerian crude oil during Jonathan's regime and till date, has refused to sell her arms.

Meanwhile, Nigeria is still standing firm because other countries especially China will fill in the gap. Take a look at the infastructural developments going on in Nigeria and Africa, a large percentage have Chinese imprint yet you keep deluding yourself of what USA can do to Nigeria.
The US have bought billions and billions of dollars of Nigerian crude over the decades, and recently trump just increased it which i am sure he will cut.

Who is questioning the superpower status of the US?

Is there any nation in the world that can defeat America in a war?

The fact that a country has a couple of Nukes does not make a superpower. The US would obliterate North korea if it gets to that.

But, America will never give the first punch. Not with the possiblity of a Nuclear conflict that would inevitably see the end of North korea.

America is only waiting for North korea to hit an american assets be it Japan, S.Korea or Guam even with a feather which would be the justification they need, and then hell and fury that the world has never seen will fall on North korea with nobody to help them.

When the Polio and tuberculosis vaccines, Hiv drugs, e.t.c in storage finishes, i hope your govt will look to the Arab league for funding or better still do it yourself.

You naive ignoramus.

Your president derives his powers from washington.

He went there recently begging for arms and money. In 2019, the presidential contestants including the incumbent will still go to America for validation.
Who is deceiving who here?

Voting for palestine will not make you less independent. That is just a shortsighted move to satisfy islamic desires while cutting yourselves from a true alliance from the world's only natural superpower. The greatest superpower in the history of the world.

If you want to do away from american influence, then stop voting for moronns like buhari and take responsibility for your national devt.

A beggar that can't even fund the consistent Hiv drugs for her citizens does not have the luxury of independence that France, UK and Germany has.

Mrnairalandd:
It’s high time Nigeria govt stand up as a sovereign nation and tell USA to Bleep off with their fucking money

Are you not ashamed of yourself when America threaten your country that if Nigeria doesn’t follow her instruction to abstain from the voting process, she ll punish your country?

What is your sense of pride?

How do you feel when a USA citizen is proudly talking about his country while your own country is cowing whenever USA sneezes?

We should all be proud of our great country at this point in time for standing against USA foreign policy.

The USA citizens see our continent as a result of their government propaganda via CNN and BBC like animal farm where monkey live due to the fact that African leaders and citizens parade themselves without self respect and full patriotism.

128 have called USA fuckingg bluff and there is nothing on USA table to use against Nigeria.

Margaret Thatcher tried this Nonsense with Nigeria in early 80s when Nigeria Airway was grounded in UK. If it was now, i guess all these sissy men in this generation would have asked this strong and patriotic man called Buhari to chicken in and take a defeat. Thank God for giving us a man with national pride who told Britain that Nigeria ll give Britain 48hrs to release Nigeria Airways with 3 British Airways already grounded in Nigeria in retaliation. Nigeria gave British Embassy staff 48hrs to start packing their bags to leave Nigeria while Nigeria diplomats were asked to return home. What a National pride!

What is wrong with you guys in this generation without Shame? So you expected Nigeria to stay away from election cos USA say so. Pathetic!

In all your years of relationship with USA, tell me what have you gain as a country from that relationship in terms of social infrastructures, FDI and technology.

The little new infrastructures you see in Nigeria and other countries in Africa are made possible by China within the last five years of Africa relationship with China.

Finally, in the midst of Nigeria war against Bono Haram during Jonathan Administration, Nigeria govt did everything possible to get some military hardwares from USA with our money but what did USA do? She refused to sell to Nigeria with the help of Congress. USA even went as far blocking other countries from selling to us hence why we lost over billion of naira to South Africa when we were trying to get those military wares clandestinely. Thank God for Russia who later stepped in and help Nigeria out.

USA can’t hold us to ransom. It’s high time we throw their help to their face and tell them to Hell off.

The only economic power they have over Nigeria is our trade deal with USA which is our oil. If USA decide not to buy our oil, there are over 150 countries around the world ready to buy it. Why the stress?

If Ghana could proudly voted against USA foreign policy with the rest of the world like what we had few days ago, you guys lamenting and whining about why Nigeria shouldn’t have voted against it are nothing but freaking wimps and deserved to be castrated cos you are not real men.

128 countries stood together against tyranny and here you are telling 50 reasons why Nigeria shouldn’t have voted against USA. Bleep off Dawg.

If USA raises a resolution tomorrow that’s fair to the world, Nigeria is ready to work with USA.

Peace
lol.

In this period where oil is cheap and oil nations are looking for who to sell to, this ignoramus thinks Nigeria has 150 nations to sell to if the US don't buy.

Olodo rabata.

I didn't say they should give aid. I said they are doing right thing for wrong reasons. The US are fools no doubt. If you look into their wasteful military escapes all over middle East then wasted aid on Israel.

I don't care about aid. You were the one shivering in your boots over them cutting HIV aid to Nigeria. I already told you Nigeria needs to grow up anyway.
The US are fools with by far the world's largest economy. They are fools and yet their standard of living for a nation of their population is nearly unrivalled.

You claim they give aids for influence and yet you call them fools. no wahala. They no longer want to be fools.

I am shivering in my boots because i know how disastrous it can be for Nigerian health care if the US cuts aid. You care about Buhari and senseless grand-standing, while i care about poor Nigerians who will begin to drop like flies if the Hiv/aids medicine from America become scarce.

Nikki Haley said, the US will remember this day when nations come looking for their help and their influence like they always do.
You better tell your Buhari to look eastwards henceforth. Good luck.

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/05/25/trump-tells-nato-allies-its-time-to-spend-more-on-defense.html

This is Trump pleading with NATO allies to increase their financial and personell contribution to NATO, which the US is funding up to 21%.

Now NATO is very critical to the security of western Europe from Russia. Even then , countries in NATO still heap the financial responsibility on the US.

Now if this Rich European countries cannot even fund their own integrated defense to American standard, is it the UN they will now fund?

It'll hurt America the more in the long run coz there are other nations/blocs ready and eager to fill that void at the U.N and in effect wield more influence on the geopolitical stage. E.g, China, Russia, Germany-led EU. These folks are not doing badly economically/militarily and are very ambitious.
They can't replace the US , sorry.

The US have been practically begging other nations to contribute their quota to sustain the UN for decades, but it has always fell on deaf ears.
If other nations are willing to replace them, then why is the US still funding the UN up to 22%?

Even in NATO the US have been pleading for other nations to rise to their financial responsibilities, but nations don't want to spend if they can avoid it.

When the US pulls funding, i am certain the replacement will be a drop in the ocean.

I can name atleast 10 igbo people in Nigeria and overseas that is more successful and influential than anybody in his entire ethnic group.

Innoson had an issue with the EFCC and the entire nation right up to the FG caught cold because of the igbo people. And one low-life on nairaland think his ethnic group can measure up to that.
