Sannisege: This is true because once victims see the faces of their kidnappers, they will definitely be killed because the kidnappers don’t want to face death penalty. The law should be that kidnapping attract 25 years imprisonment but if the victim dies in your custody, then the kidnapper gets the death penalty. Laws should not only punish the criminals but also protect the victims. Blanket law of death penalty on all kidnappers will only make the criminals more vicious and violent in an effort to cover their crime at all costs. ,.... |

Flangelo12: Arithmetic is not your strongest suit.
Obi is 66 years old.
If you add 6 years of Tinubu to that, Obi becomes 72.
It goes north, and that's for 8 years.
That makes Obi 80 years old.
The man that has never been quick witted would be unfit for office in 14 years from now.
Even you would reject him. Obi would remain electable , even if he was walking with a stick. Once the north enters, and have a chance to degrade whatever nonsense tinubu has built politically, we would see where this arrogance is coming from. A region of perpetual opposition telling us who will be president and who will not, just because they have had some time in the sun. Wonders shall never end. |

Flangelo12: When.did I say that?
By the way, we know he is contesting for the position of president.
Once Tinubu's 2nd term is secure, Obi knows it's going North.
His presidential ambition collapses at that point. His presidential ambition will not collapse because you said so. Nigeria is not your village. Even if it goes north, it will still come back to the south and obi will be around to contest. Buhari became president at 74, which is a very conservative age estimate for him. Atiku is still contesting for the presidency. So who are you to decide obi's political trajectory? |

I thought you said he will stop doing good after the elections of 2023. So you have shifted the goal post to 2027. Even if he loses, you think he can't still run for elections after 2027? |

Armaggedon: you're obviously a 🤡 and I shouldn't have engaged you. It's seriously doubtful you're from Anioma. Be ranting all day on a topic but when someone spares time to engage you, your dimw*t will show and you go back to spewing usually bigotry and emotions. If you want to railroad me into unhealthy comparison between Igbos and Igbos across the Niger, then you're on failed mission. Asaba is economically dominated by southeasteners who will likely determine its future. Anioma also benefits more in southeast. You can rant on bro. Mr Man, tell me one good thing anioma stand to gain from joining the South East. Just one good thing. You would find that there is none. Stop pouring spit everywhere. You are a nobody to tell me who I am and where I come from. |
Politics › Re: Former Governor Of Delta State Offers $30,000 To Kill Ned Nwoko's Anioma Bill by CSTRR: 6:23pm On Dec 18, 2025 |
Armaggedon: public listed companies are owned by the shareholders and don't belong to any one individual or regions. So, no need mentioning companies from the east, since these ones are technically part of them. Jim ovia and elumelu are the largest shareholders of the respective companies. Only the likes of IVM and airpeace can be described as companies "from east" since their owners are from the southeast. Mind telling me why you keep mentioning seplat?
I'm still waiting for you to tell me what Anioma has benefitted from being part of the southsouth? Thank you, captain obvious. Yes, those men are majority owners for a reason, and they represent anioma interests. Publicly listing their companies does not stop it from being anioma owned. And it will remain anioma-owned till the end of time. The real question is, what exactly do you have to contribute to anioma, apart from clannishness and insecurity? Despite outnumbering the anioma nation atleast 10:1, you can't even boast of a world class multinational organization. What do you want to give anioma that we don't already have, or are not capable of creating on our own? |

Armaggedon: zenith bank and UBA are public listed companies. It has shareholders which include to a very large extent, people from the southeast . You can't compare it with the likes of innoson and airpeace in terms of exclusive ownership. Some of you are seriously afflicted with ignorance. Anioma is not gaining anything from southsouth and has not gain anything from southsouth, if you know any, tell me. It appears it hasn't gained anything in the south east because southeasterners are pouring development there with no strings attached. Infrastructural development in Asaba from southeasterners with nollywood are the only things Asaba has benefitted since its creation as state capital. South South gave it nothing! Anioma will benefit most for being a state. It will join the south east development commission and NDDC while benefitting from Eastern free investment which has given Asaba a faster growth rate than warri. Can you give me the name of any public listed company from the south east on the same level with Zenith bank and UBA.? Those ones are too big. What of Seplat? BTW, the SE is more than 10 times the population of the anioma ethnic group. |

ElevationD: Sorry bro, but that’s the way it will be. Anioma to form the sixth SE state, joining kith and kin there. Anioma people do not leverage on the proximity to oil and gas in the SS. Anioma lies on oil and gas. The land is rich in mineral resources. The same in the SE with Imo and Anambra states holding huge reserves of gas.
There’s now no stopping it from happening, with members of the NASS agreeing. Now to complete the processes and the pronouncement in 2026. Get ready to be called Onye Igbo. If you have been hiding your identity, by next year, you no go fit again, except you want to put on Ibadan or Ogbomoso tribal marks to change your face identification. Go and join your bia brothers. Ijeoma Anioma is not the reason why you dont have development in ughelli and co. You just don't have the required IQ. Even if they gave you all the oil wealth in the SS, your leaders will still embezzle it. Apart from oceanic bank created by the ibru family, there has not been any major brand from that part of delta state. You should be proud of Anioma. I doubt if you know the politics on ground as we speak Anioma is the most likely state. The real question is which region it will fall under. Ijaw and the rest don't stand a chance. You think the place anioma reside currently will magically change or what? Joining the SE comes with its own unique security and political challenges. We automatically fall into the igbo orbit, and that is a different ball game, politically and economically. |

Look at companies we have built as anioma.
Zenith, UBA, SEPLAT, AITEO, and a host of others.
These are companies bigger than any the SE can put forward.
We couldn't have done that if we were in the SE.
Anioma has the quality human capital, with the access to oil that a SS region offers us, we can do great things. |

shizzle11: Incoherent rant, so the south east isnt progressive? Even with the now almost ended sit at home by some misguided folks, the east still manage to record commendable succes in several sectors much better than some regions could muster, so what are you on about??
Anioma is better off with their kith and kin in the SOUTH EAST and it will eventually happen. Get out with this your nonsense gaslighting or do you know better than he who wears the shoes? I have no problem with the SE. Infact, the SE is progressive than most regions of this country. But it is a very complex region, and the security challenges there are great. It will not serve my people any benefit to join the SE. |
Politics › Re: Anioma Youths Protesting To Join South East (Photos) by CSTRR: 4:37pm On Dec 15, 2025 |
BarrElChapo: What difference will it make if it’s a SS rather than SE state ? The SS region is more promising, and has less security complexities, atleast right now. The anioma people have been able to leverage on our proximity to oil and gas in the SS , to create big businesses like Zenith, UBA, SEPLAT AITEO, e.t.c. We will lose all that advantage if we Join a SE that is too clannish and under the control of megalomaniacs like IPOB. |
