For the first time, the west african coast would see an F-35 in the air.
It would be so cool, if it were not so frightening.
Nigerians did this to their country. They kept voting for bad leaders, and now they are going to lose their country to a superpower. |

DeOTR: Solution to perennial problem in 2 years? You're part of the problem. What has tinubu done to ameliorate it, or even reduce it? So your useless tinubu will spend 4yrs as president without any positive impact on the IDP? And you want him to get re-elected. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria Can't Continue On This Path: Atiku Condemns Abduction Of Schoolgirls by CSTRR: 6:44pm On Nov 17, 2025 |
Tareq1105: Even if Atiku or Obi gets there, is it not the same Nigerian military personnel that would go after the miscreants? The current COAS would not be the COAS under an Obi or an atiku. The current CDS would not the same CDS under an obi or an atiku. Their commitment to security is different. So claiming it is the same is being dishonest. Tinubu is a politician that wants to win votes at the expense of anything. Obi wants to win votes as well, but not at the expense of doing the right thing. |

The northerners are a different breed. They prefer doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result.
When it comes to elections, instead of them to surprise everybody and do the right thing for once against their historical biases, that is when they will start reminding you about ahmadu bello and 1967.
Insanity. |

73% OF IGBO women are literate. That is first class citizenship right there.
You can't have a literacy rate of 20% and tell me you are a first class citizen of Nigeria because you produced the president. |

The good thing about this is that going forward, Nigeria will start taking its defence seriously.
We have been procuring defence armaments like a small third world nation, with the likes of Egypt and Algeria putting us to shame with their procurements.
No serious threat in our neighbourhood, they said. Now, the greatest superpower the world has ever known has set its sights on you.
Going forward, S-400, J20, J35s should be what we are buying. |

casualobserver: After 2031, Yorubas have no business or right to be president till 2071. However I have told you this thing before 2055 is not assured for the ibos if they keep playing the type of politics they play and electing the kind of leaders they elect. If you still insist on this nzogbu nzogbu politics, a Yoruba man can take it from you again in 2055. I am not an advocate of such a move but I am just warning you. 2039 is going to the SS. As for VP the idea of a Yoruba VP in 2031 is ridiculous, anyone suggesting such is either winding you up or delusional.
Again I advice you people, get your leadership right. It’s one thing for your turn to come, it’d another for you to be prepared. That it is the turn of the south or the Se does not mean the country will trust the stewardship to a clown. The SE have the worst set of politicians in the country. Sort out the caliber of people you elect to offic3 so that as they rise others will be comfortable electing them as president.
Opportunity must go hand in hand with preparedness. The reason why Tinubu will win is largely because when the time for the south came, the rest of the country is not comfortable with the person you have put forward to champion your cause…Obi. You blew the 2023-2031 opportunity because of the person you put forward.
In politics your opinion does not matter, what matters are the opinions of the people you need to cross the line of victory.
If you like listen, if you like abuse, ignore and continue walking the same path that has brought nothing.
You go for an interview, let’s say a visa interview, you queue, when your number is called, it is your right to be seen by the interviewer. The system has done its part by giving you a fair chance to be interviewed. However if on getting to the interview stage, you don’t have the documents required, that’s on you….you went to an interview unprepared…don’t blame the system. Interview over and the guy behind you takes your slot. Bullshit. Obi got 6 million votes in labour party. The difference between obi and tinubu was just 2 million votes. That's just the votes of one northern state. They won the equal number of states despite running on vastly different political parties in terms of political machinery. The last time tinubu supported a candidate that ran on a vastly inferior party called the ACN, he lost woefully. What obi did in 2023 was proof of concept. The pdp knows it, which is why they want him back by all means. Tinubu got the lowest number of votes of any president since 1999 by percentage. The vast majority of Nigerians are definitely not comfortable with such a character being president. If obi and atiku can sort out the difference and run on a single ticket, they would be the next residents in aso rock in 2027. |

Politics › Re: Bola Tinubu: The Last Yoruba President Of Nigeria? A Nation's Betrayal by CSTRR: 1:50pm On Oct 21, 2025 |
seunmsg: \ Between 2015 and 2023 Ibo like you, Mrvitalis, Racoon, Penguin2, CSTRR etc all claimed that a Yoruba man can never be president or vice president of Nigeria ever again after Osinbajo’s Vice Presidency. Guess what, Osinbajo’s tenure ended and Tinubu is now the president. He will also be president till 2031.
So you see, Ibos making this type of statement is not new. We will produce the Vice President again in 2031 and then take over from the north after 8 years. You will be here at every point in this journey as usual to make claims like this while the Yorubas and indeed the rest of Nigeria keeps laughing at you. Lessons have been learnt. If atiku and Obi had ran on a single platform, your tinubu would not have been president. Though I understand that it is irrelevant now, but facts are still facts. Even with that, despite running with the party of the incumbent, and with the enormous funds behind him, it was a narrow victory for him, losing both lagos and abuja. So if you think your candidate is popular, think again. He will probably win 2027. He has the power of incumbency and atiku /obi has not united on a single ticket to pose any serious challenge. As for 2031, a yoruba VP victory is impossible. Any party that attempts that will lose woefully. I can assure you of that. |

I insist, it is simplu because they did not blend in Obi's direction.
If they had done so, it would have been crickets. What exactly does he want to gain from obi that he could not get from soludo who is currently supporting tinubu? Is it money or position? Infact, it would be more personally rewarding for him to just eat and keep quiet, like most of your political traditional leaders are doing. He has access to Nigeria's wealth than you will ever see. |

Commentor: Obi of Onitsha is pained.
If all those politicians had been cross carpeting to a party Obi was in, he would have been singing a different tune.
Always 2 faced. Obi of onitsha is rich and influential. He has access to high level politicians any day, anytime. The fact that he is pained at the state of the country and you are not, is proof that you don't have any intelligence. A rich man is crying for the wellbeing of the poor, and the poor is telling him that he is pained. |
