See, Trebol is actually logia. He has shown signs of intangibility which is exclusively logia. Law's Radio Knife attack is actually meant to 'delay' logia users from joining their separate bodies. And as you can see, Trebol got delayed and later joined back. If he was paramecia, there will be no joining back for him at all.

I know everyone thought he was paramecia because the tontantta tribe said he was, but no one knows the df abilities better than the user himself and Trebol clearly stated he's logia and has shown its signs.

Where was it specifically stated that he was a logia I.e. Where did Trebol make such comment cos he replied Luffy that something like "are you sure, when Luffy told him he thought he was a logia"


Till today, I still don't understand what the Tontataas felt when Trebol was defeated cos it was as if Trebol was a former tontataa abi hin use "spell" on top the tontataa? Well time would tell

I think trebol is paramecia.. He only produces a very thick layer of mucus which he uses as his clothing, this decieves the attacker into thinking he is logia.. Remember when law used the sword to remove all that excess mucus, you find a very slim man

While I've not read much manga, I know some big time otaku who has also said this stuff. Natsu, Goku, Naruto all showed some level of smartness above Luffy. Luffy is goofy even when serious. Check out his fight with Crocodile.... Trying to eat up the sand and then pulling a mizuLuffy....Lol. With Enel, only Luffy can come up with becoming a plain idiot just to evade and land a hit on Enel....and then voicing out his attacks and target to a huge Navy Admiral just because he's blind.......and Oda makes it that fans still love this super idiot because he's a superidiot.

This took me back to One piece 594.I laughed really hard once again. Luffy and law pirate alliance came as a shock to everyone.

I don't think in the history of manga, there has ever been a protagonists who is more pronounced or known as a NOVICE or a goofy character than Luffy is....he took the alliance as if it was like lnothing happened especially after Robin's warning & the goofy man asked Law casually, will you betray me, Law replied No, he turned & said "see" & then said, even if Law betrayed me, I have you guys
Oda is something else then Toei's in-between comedy fillers, is also something else

Trebol is actually logia. His logia element (mucus) is a fluid just like Caribou(mud) and Akainu(magma). His body is actually mucus so he can change shape and flow along as that. Its different from Magallan(poison) and Mr3(wax) who are also fluids but paramecia. In their case their bodies 'produces' the poison/wax. Magallan can cover his body with the poison but you can still actually see his body inside it even when he is in the demon god form his body is simply inside the poison and its same with Mr3. But for Trebol, you can see him actually becoming mucus and flowing from one place to another. In fact he uses the mucus to hide the fact that he's a deformed old man.

But did you see where Luffy punched him & his hand went passed Trebol as if he was a logia user.
Well people have been saying that it is possible for Trebol to shift his body but after seeing his "real body" when Law cut him, I have come to reject that theory of him shifting his body cos there is no way a Trebol would shift his body when his legs are still on the ground.
Usopp cut him into 3, Law cut him into 4 with radio knife, Luffy punched him with both hands, yet nothing happened & in those 3 times he was cut or punched, his legs were on the ground so I ask, how can his body shift when his legs were on the ground

I have the same feeling that it's too early for us to see Vegapunk.I would want it to be much later.

You never can tell especially with a man like Oda who loves surprising his fans & likes to hide details about his manga. I am even suspecting that we will be introduced to the 7th Shichibukai but Oda would never let us see his face properly or even know his name & details for now(my prediction for chapter 800)

Elbaf arc won't be anytime soon.We have Zou, Wano , Kaido and the Kidd Alliance in play.It will take a while!

Like play like play, Oda has been using Usopp as the prophet of the SH's journey or future

Apart from underestimating them, it seems Doffy i s not so strong in COO cos being smart as he is, it's likely he should have known that there was a room except this particular room is invisible cos Oda refused showing us the actual time or scene when Law created the room.

Even myself want to be convinced on whether Trebol is a paramecia or a logia cos that event with Law & Usopp at the slave factory appeared to be contradicting each other

I see Luffy rejecting that dying wish if Law were to do such a thing.

The battle I want to see No 5 & no 6 especially 6

As for Capone, Sanji should be able to handle him. The Kaido allies have also retreated. Should be Zou time for them. I wonder how the other SH will greet this alliance. Bartolomeo said he'll go blind if he sees all the SH in one place at a time.....Lol.

You know that one cannot tell when Vega would appear cos Kaido's appearance was too sudden for everybody to know it would happen at that time.
I still believe Capone is not far from them in fact that chapter looked as if he had cited Ceasar from where he was.
I want to go with the prediction that the 7th shichi whom Zephyr talked about in dwelling in Wano & must have one time or the other being an ally of Kaido...in fact he still is an ally presently.
I believe that this cos defeating Kaido means weakening his allies & armies.

For those that haven't watched today's episode, you have to do that cos it was intersting to me although people haven't stopped complaining of Toei's pacing...like I tell people, I would take the worst moment of Toei over the best moment of Studio Peirrot

Sanji and co took the 1000 Sunny while running from Big Mam ship and left Dressrosa. They should be on their way to Zou.

But there is s problem for the other mugiwaras cos Capone who is an underling for Big Mama is after them seeing that some chapters back, Capone sighted Ceasar with the SH crew.
Also we know that some of Kadio's machineries are also on the island after the same SHs.

I read a speculation that chapter 800 may finally be the chapter we get to see "Vegapunk" cos it's been 3 days that has passed for Smoker, Tashigi & those children to finally arrive at his labouratory.

According to Oda's SBS, the SHs would one day meet a "doctor" who will then tell them the history of Devil Fruits...Oda is not perfect but he has so many things under his control to splill out

For you Law fans, tomorrow is the D-Day for you know what!!!

Epic means heroic or grand in scale. The only thing that's pertaining to epicness in the chapter is the number of fleet that wants to be on Luffy's side and probably Fuji telling us how he got blind. Not the chapter... It's an average chapter 3/5 IMO most importantly

For me, Oda is showing us the danger that the "Novice-Luffy" is in but he is so ignorant of the dangers ahead.
That is a positive plot for the story.

Bleep this, I now have a rethink, Luffy is gonna accept just for the Bleep of it. Then news spread all over one piece world. So from there the story progresses

The last chapter showed that Luffy is in trouble just as Fujitora was even piting him.
Fuji wanted to catch him cos he feels Luffy would be safer being in prison than leaving him to run wide in the sea.
Also remember what Doffy said;
that do you know what will happen to a CD (someone like Doffy) should he fall?
It was then that his flashback was shown of how his father plus family fell flat & the consequences of their fall lead to torture upon torture from the poor-citizens

I'm with the poster that thinks Luffy's reaction would be a resounding no, too much salt spoils the soup.

Well you may think that it is predictable for a Luffy to reject such an alliance seeing that he has always believed that everyman should be free to decide what they want for themselves & not someones' wants on their behalf.
But like people have been predicting, Law would bring him back to his senses so as to get atleast a 60% chance against Kaido.

I don't think a chapter has to be Kaido-oic before it can be called epic, for me, it was epic depending on the angle you want to look at it from. For me it was message-passed chapter from last week to 799.
It has shown that he is no longer the scared kitty-cat that was at Saboardy & at Marineford.
He can't beat them for now but atleast he can challenge them & he really needs the ally for his final showdown with the WG.

Seeing the citizens took me back to Ohara mini arc when the monster Akainu was still unknown.
Luffy is really fated cos if it were Sakazuki, not only will the citizens be destroyed, but also their bones would be buried 5,000-feet just like how Crocodile does to living things just by touching it.

Oda is a good story teller, can you imagine that no one except him knows how he would use Aokiji. People have thought & thought but no idea on how Oda will use him yet

Well from what I just read in Mangastream, I really pity his journey especially now that the Yonkos are making their moves. It was just like taking me back to marineford when WB died & all the Yonkos moved immediately to consolidate their territories & make even bigger moves.

Like I have hinted, both are different. The story for Don Kreig was good for that arc while it lasted & Luffy has surpassed expectatitons & has grown from strenght to strenght since then.
Right now, for instance, Buggy is imcomparable to Luffy, but like Crocodile said, the strenght of a character depends on the Devil Fruit user & now his spirit/will aka Haki level but that same Oda can as well build a character like Buggy to become even bigger threat in every thing than Luffy. It all depends on the story he wants to tell.
Buggy's DF is stupid & foolish according to people, but to Oda, that DF is useful should Oda decide to expand on it's capabilities

I disagree with you on this.
To be a Yonko is not only by the captain's abilities alone, but also by the commanders & the allied crew beneath you but it can be interepreted in some other ways one sees it.
For instance, as powerful as Blackbeard was, he still had a plan to add the "DEVILS" in Impel down level 6 & beyound to strenghten his position as a Yonko. He knew that his DF couldn't do it alone. So I believe you not only have to be strong but have capable commanders in addition to allies as you start climbing up the ladder & should Luffy accept this 5,600 alliance, that should let us have an idea how Oda may be planning his future story arc especially the final arc (but I know that the Whitebeard's commanders would be on ground to help Luffy against the marines)
Remember in PH, Law talked about the "so-called failed work" of the WG to have giants as fighters for the WG, so who is to tell if by the final arc, that Vega Punk wouldn't have completed his work by then.
Shanks is a powerful aka COC god but at Marineford, was shown with atleast 8 strong commanders.
I'm sure Big Mama has competent commanders so also BB.
But like theories have been flying around since today's chapter & with Luffy's "I don't care facial expression", I don't see him accepting this alliance at the end of the 800 chapter but let us wait & watch till then

One interesting thing about this chapter to me was the Yonta Maria Grand Fleet Mother Ship.
It is so beautifully designed that I'm just imagining the how it would look like in the anime.
Immediately seeing it took my mind back to all this medevian era movies or series from LOTR, GOT, TROY, Gladiator, etc.
I wish Oda had designed the 1000 sunny with this design.

That is cos I have not seen you dicuss or say a word with regards to the manga. Most of your comments give you away as an anime viewer only.

I have been shouting my heads off cos the chapter just confirmed we would get the Elbaf arc, Fuji is a mad man for going blind deliberately meaning that Oda would later in the future show us his backstory, Luffy is a YONKO unofficial should he accept the greatest alliance ever.
I learnt something from this chapter & it is that Luffy who isn't afraid of any of the big names (although he can't beat them), is ready "UNOFFICIALLY" for a YONKO battle.
I'm so so hyped for Wano & Luffy's annoincement as the officail Pirate King.....& this my friends are the reasons why Oda's pocket has never & will never run dry.
