This country is sick. Very sick |
He doesn't sound intelligent but I'm surprised he's able to speak clearly in understandable English. His publicity as regards his F9 WAEC parallel made this look like he's sound. Anyways why is the place echoing? Channels TV should do better |
Nigeria does not have the good luck of good leadership. Now the opposition that should provide an alternative to this foolish govt is nonsensical |
He was the deputy governor of CBN before venturing into politics bmd1010: |
Not supporting him but that's not what he said. |
Festivals are too plenty |
Not disputing the results but these figures looked rigged. Anyways, Nigeria was better then. The Nigeria now is a calamity |
That's true. The govt knows all the terrorists. But why is the audio sounding like it's AI generated? |
This is good news for the Nigerian govt but they will squander it |
Sentiment aside, considering the rate at which govt makes ambitious plans with zero plans on how to implement effectively, this project will fail. I'm certain that the ~$16bn budgeted for electricity between 1999-2007 was way more ambitious that this and what happened with it? They will embezzle it. Now in this report, there is no information as to the start date and end date, no timeline of progress, nothing nothing. Just talks and talks. |

You no fit see Nigeria for this kind list. Suriname must be doing a whole lot right |
Yes, I know. Thank you and have a good day. Owologbo: |
This is the first time I'll be hearing of the party. Please who is the man speaking to using a microphone? This man is already trying to retire politically. |
EXPOSED!!! Dear @icpcnigeria & @officialEFCC Over ₦783.78 million meant to build classrooms for secondary school students in Ogun State has been traced to the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, an institution whose mandate is marine and fisheries education, not secondary school infrastructure. According to findings by Tracka using data from GovSpend, ₦304 million was paid to Akinkas Interbiz Limited for a classroom block at Methodist High School, Arigbajo. Another ₦303 million went to Still Earth Limited for St. Peter’s College, Olomore, while ₦176 million was allocated again to the same company for work at Abeokuta Grammar School, Idi Aba. In January 2026, Tracka’s field visits revealed a disturbing reality: no construction, no materials, no visible progress. Students are still learning in dilapidated structures while hundreds of millions of naira have already been disbursed. Why is a marine focused federal institution supervising classroom construction in Ogun State? How were these funds approved, transferred, and supposedly executed without visible results? Who signed off on project completion? Who verified payment milestones? This raises serious concerns about procurement abuse, weak oversight, and possible diversion of public funds. The beneficiaries of these allocations appear invisible but the suffering of students is not. This is not a clerical error. It is a potential case of systemic corruption involving public institutions and contractors. The Independent Corrupt Practices Commission and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission must immediately investigate these transactions, trace every payment, and hold all responsible officials and contractors accountable. Public funds are meant to build classrooms, not disappear without a trace. #AskQuestions @DapoAbiodunCON @HMS_FMARD @FmardNg https://x.com/monitng/status/2028990919664447963?s=20

Some people's political career will be determined |
What should have been done? The govt should continue subsidizing fuel price so the price can be cheaper? jmoore: |
It looks as though only the ADC are campaigning. Vocal opposition is good for democracy. I'm waiting for the outcome of the election. |
Only a few number of Nigerians actually care about this. As long as the prices of foodstuff have not come down, the economy is still in shambles. |
Im not really familiar with the case but I know the Nigerian public transport system is immune to orderliness. They'll prefer their rascal way of life. Not all but most. |
This man is just babbling. If the DSS wanted to arrest him, they'll arrest him and nothing will happen. They'll just cook up one accusation and take him under the cover of that accusation. El Rufai is indeed a clown. I get that he's in the opposition and should be cooking the incumbent but the tapping of the NSA? Come on... |
This is a bait for the terrorists. One of those American soldiers is killed by a terror attack, the US will respond and all hell will break lose. |
Before commenting, please read the entire writeup. They proffered workable solutions. |
Ondo is 50 and has nothing tangible to show for its years of existence. Pathetic. |
So Nigeria cannot service that aircraft? |
I know I've watched a lot of western war movies but I know militaries in the world have special forces who are sent on special missions that would not involve the entire army. Usually they are used for rescue mission, elimination of targets, etc. My question is shey Nigeria does not have special forces ni? Since you can't engage the terrorists in a conventional warfare, why not in covert operations? Again, I've forgotten that the people in charge of security are terrorists sympathisers. |
The reason why Nigeria is this way is because we have failed to erect and establish strong systems and institutions. If our institutions are strong, the excesses of the so-called leaders will be curved. |
Where is Ibadan on this list? |
What exactly are the reforms that they want to implement? |
