I think carrot makes salad look more colourful. Cucumber had a dark green colour, and we know dark colours don't make things colourful.

well you're not wrong. But personally i prefer the dark shade of green mixed with other greens to a shouty orange colour that just makes my food look off a bit.

Good morning guys, i don't know if this is the appropriate section to put this topic but couldn't find a suitable one. so, i've been on nairaland for about 4 years now but still learning how to use it. My recent challenge being the fact that i can't see or send E-mails sent to me. On my nairaland home page it will show for example "culin2376 has sent you messages, pls check your E-mail now". When i check my inbox what i see is "culin2376 would like to send you an email message, but since you're not connected, you'll need to contactculin2376 by replying this email.
