Don rush and start explaining things. Forst tel him to loose all the plugs nd check for cracks on the ceramic or if the pkugs have expired or worn out. If pkuga are good..ruled out. Next tell him to guage the oil or you remove the dipstick?clean and insert then reove and check for imtbe level if its low or guaged. Thirdly he ahoyld check if the oil pump and oil pump mesh filter screen under the oil sump is blocked or dirty.... if after that he should check the timing belts?pulleys,adjuster where the fan belt sits on timing chain..if after every ..then the engine don knock be that. Some of these meko dey place one or half inch screw Inside your engine crankcase when you are not there. It will now hook the pistons or valves and bend them and hence engine knocked. He ahud check where I told u too. Don't go there and be doing big man o . Make sure u r there.mke no be say na spark plugs.them go tell u say engine don knock.cos every meko eyes dey red now and dem go chop anyone.

1. Your vehicle number plate has not been updated on FRSC portal. The fault is from the first people that did your registration. They supposed to upload it. It doesn't take time. Less than a month and it would reflect on FRSC portal.

2. The people that have been collecting money from you in Abuja to renew Lagos number for you have been scamming you.

Lagos and Abuja do not share the same system. Either you travel down to Lagos to do your registration or you send the papers to your license officer in Lagos to renew and way bill to you in Abuja.

The problem now is that for you to do the renewal, you will pay all the arrears from 2017 to date.

Our people are really terrible in the part of this world imagine, it doesn't cost anyone kobo to have told me this truth even after I have paid. I have bought this car actually from Abuja owner who relocated from Lagos since 2017

Lagos has its own system.
You are wasting your money doing renewal outside Lagos.
If that car enters Lagos you will be billed.
Go to Payvis to check it out.

Lagos is the only state that prints its own number plates.
You car registration is under Lagos state.
My guy lives in Ogun state he was billed as soon as he drove into Lagos.

You must not drive down, pls go with your footwagen while I go with mine, questions must be asked with my photocopy papers make dem no go seize d originals

Can anyone explain why my vehicle licence renewal had not been recognised in the FRSC online system since 2017.
Im currently living in Abuja with Lagos registered plate number. This car has annually been undergoing vehicle licence and road worthy test in Abuja.
I just renewed my car papers July 10 2025 and I saw this, this Nigeria nawa o, See the attached for the shock of my life. Could this be that Abuja licence renewal does not recognise Lagos plate number and the system accepts my money for fraudulent service since their system seem not unified?

What can I do? I have registered and annually been paying CMR NPF and no red flag

Just make sure you go with a qualified mechanic for inspection who can check check engine running condition, confirming that the gearbox works perfectly fine and obviously carrying out a comprehensive scan on it he vehicle computer

And budget between 250 to 300k for immediate maintenance, e get why

Please guys, I just got a gs350 2007...it was misfiring on cylinder 6...I was getting 2 codes...p0206 and p0306...

I changed all spark plugs and it dint rectify...I moved the ignition coil and still got that same p0206 on cylinder 6...I finally serviced all 12 injectors...and discovered that one of the injectors at cylinder 6 had a loose wire....

I fixed the wire and the car is now very stable but now the new issue is that the injector on that cylinder is pouring excess fuel..and it is now affecting the starting of the car and a blue smoke now coming off the exhaust...I know it means burning oil too

So please I need a lexus mechanic in lagos...I stay at berger

Successful rate of servicing injector is 50/50, if you can afford complete new injector, try and give yourself peace of mind

I finally got the car and apparently the dealer didn't service te car so I probably need to do a complete servicing but I need a few clarifications, how regular should the transmission fluid be changed based on your experience? And do you have vendor you can recommend who sales the original fluid so i can get from the person

Alaye forget googe. Most of the filters sold sre not 100% fake,they are cloned to imitate the original. Go and buy original filter na,it cost almost 200 dollars. Go and buy it na,the one they are selling 20k,30k,na still 2k e be. Them just package am give u, since u be big fish. After that,dont forget to buy original oul that costs almost 300k. Pls after you have bought every,do not change the oil again,use it for 3years.since na original,direct from mobil.

My Honda Accord 2003 V6 break is always soft though sharp when applied but I expect it to be hard when applied based on past experiences, that is little press but in this case it almost touch the body. I have changed master break and break pads, kindly adviced what could be the issue.

Last time I experienced this, I noticed my brake fluid was not gauge and immediately I topped it up with its OEM braking fluid, it wqs hard as stone

Spend wisely,substandard or oem,it would still serve its purpose. To filter dirt and all sht....its a global issue,even ebay sells china copy. Tell your mechanic to open the oil sump and check the oil filter screen,that mesh look.

Explorer is a huge SUV with maximum comfort, you will not spend unreasonable maintenance cost if you keep to manufacturer guide.
Howver, make sure you test drive the car to be sure the gear selection is perfect, check to be sure engine is in good condition without oil spill. Drive and speed up to 120kmh to be sure no vibration or shaking. Test braking system to be sure your ABS is OK.

Finally, ask the seller to tell you car repair history. Don't forget to ask when last he did oil change and transmission fluid change so u can be guided even though your car computer have the oil intelligent warming required change.

I did oil change service when my car mileage was at 142,158 KM and currently at 144,201 KM. I got a dash notice that oil change service required. I did oil life reset the last time I carried out the last service though.

This is just less than 1500 Miles na, abi the brain box deh whyne me ni. Some people own even deh do over 5500 miles

Battery don't last any longer. I bought a brand new car battery 3years ago,a battery I never dismantled those 3 years,is suddenly dying on me,barely 3 years battery. Does it mean car batteries is naija can't reach 5years. I'm looking for all those green copart battery . Enuf of the fake Korea, made In Korea sticker fake batteries. Nigeria is dead and last country on earth

They will print 100amp on the battery but turned out to be 80 or less amp. Battery now last rarely 12 months

Evening all. Pls anytime I top up my fuel in filling station my car will be doing hard start, until I match throttle like 6 times while starting it before it will pick,. And secondly in the morning if I start the car it will start and work for like 20 seconds and stops until I start it again and match match throttle to support it... Na Honda EOD

While mine would always not start smooth when fuel goes down below 50km and continue it's smooth start once I top up fuel.

Did you find help already? You can check if your purge canister Evap valve is faulty.

was the fuel pump damaged before you changed it?

If not damaged, you can try use it again to verify the genuity of your new pump
