PoliticsRe: We Left ADC Because Atiku Said ADC Was His - Hon. Ifeanyi Uzokwe by Curious345: 8:26am On May 06
All this plenty capping . Na wah oo.

Atiku -obi

Or

Obi-atiku ticket is good to go .

OBI SHOULD'VE ENTERED A POLITICAL ARRANGEMENT WITH OBI, THat he Atiku will do only one term . Then handover to Obi to do one term ..

Then have a constitutional review for each geopolitical zone to rotate the presidency for a 6 year tenure each .

SO IN THE END , THERE WILL BE A MERGER BETWEEN ADC /TURAKI PDP/NDC/. THIS WILL NOW BRING ATIKU AND OBI TOGETHER

PoliticsRe: NDC Is An Agency Of APC - Senator Dino Melaye by Curious345: 8:15am On May 06
Hahahah. Sen Dino I think you are wrong on this one ..

From the permutations before me

Atiku - 34% of votes .

Tinubu - 36% of votes

Obi - 30% of votes

If amupitan don't rig for APC, then we head to a run off
Re-run election

Atiku - 47%
Tinubu - 53%

But an Atiku - Obi ticket changes all of this
PoliticsRe: Obi’s Heart Was Never In ADC - Babachir Lawal by Curious345: 8:11am On May 06
Hnmmm... This is a cross road <. Obi must not be deputy to anyone . And the north say they won't vote for Obi (based on their history of ethno-religious bias). Infact 60% of Obi followers are Yoruba , 30% Igbo and 10% are from the north .

Obi may divide the votes . But Tinubu will not win

There was this guy mark Zuckerberg have $100m some 8 years ago . He is based in Anambra . The seed fund was for the company to provide escrow services for businesses across Africa .

I wonder what happened with the idea.

Chinedu had done business online before. Not big deals, but enough to feel he understood how things worked. He ran a small electronics shop in Alaba, and lately, demand for fairly used iPhones had been rising fast. Customers wanted cheaper alternatives, and margins were getting tighter. So when he saw the opportunity, it felt like a breakthrough.

It started with a WhatsApp message.

“Boss, I have clean UK-used iPhone 13 and 14. Bulk available. Very sharp. Good prices.”

Chinedu almost ignored it. Messages like that came every day. But this one was different. The display picture showed stacked iPhones, neatly arranged like something straight out of a warehouse. The status updates were convincing too short clips of cartons being opened, phones being tested, even what looked like dispatch runs.

He replied.

The “vendor,” who introduced himself as Tunde, responded almost immediately. Calm. Professional. No pressure. He sent a clean catalog clear images, IMEI samples, even timestamped videos. Prices were good, but not ridiculously cheap. Just enough to feel like a smart deal.

They spoke that evening.

Tunde sounded experienced. He talked about sourcing from the UK, mentioned shipping routes, and even gave small industry insights that made everything sound legit.

“Check my previous deliveries,” he added, pointing Chinedu to a Telegram channel filled with testimonials.

There were screenshots of payments, chats from “satisfied customers,” and videos of bulk orders being shipped. Everything looked real enough.

Over the next few days, they built what felt like trust. Interestingly, Tunde didn’t rush him. In fact, he suggested starting small. That alone lowered Chinedu’s guard.

At one point, a friend of his another trader mentioned something in passing:

“If you’re dealing with someone new online, try using platforms that hold the money until you confirm delivery. Some marketplaces now do that locally.”

Chinedu nodded but didn’t take it seriously. He had already convinced himself this deal was clean.

And truth be told, he didn’t want to complicate things or “offend” the seller by introducing extra steps.

He decided to go big.

50 units. Mixed iPhone 13 and 14.

Total: ₦8.7 million.

Before sending the money, he asked for final assurance.

Tunde sent a video of what he called his dispatch room cartons labeled, phones arranged, someone sealing packages in the background.

“Boss, I no dey disappoint. Once payment drops, your goods go move immediately.”

That confidence sealed it.

Chinedu made the transfer.

₦8,700,000.

“Payment received, boss. Shipment going out tonight.”

That night, Chinedu barely slept. He was already calculating profits, thinking about expansion, even considering opening another outlet.

The next morning, a waybill receipt came in.

It looked convincing tracking number, company name, estimated delivery window.

But when he tried to track it… nothing.

He messaged Tunde.

“It will update soon. System delay.”

Hours passed.

No update.

By evening, responses became slow.

Then stopped.

Calls went unanswered.

The next morning, the WhatsApp display picture was gone.

Status wiped.

Soon after number unreachable.

That was when it hit him.

He rushed to the bank, hoping to stop the transaction. Too late. The money had already been split and moved across different accounts within minutes of landing.

Everything had been staged.

The videos? Likely recycled.

The testimonials? Fabricated.

The identity? Fake.

Even the calm voice that was part of the script.

Chinedu lost ₦8.7 million in under 24 hours.

For weeks, business slowed. Shelves were emptier. Suppliers started calling. He had to borrow money just to stay afloat.

What pained him the most wasn’t just the loss it was how real everything had felt.

Looking back, there were small chances to slow things down.

Moments where he could have insisted on a safer transaction method… or at least used a system where funds aren’t released until goods are actually received and verified. These days, a few online marketplaces oo1market try to structure deals that way, acting as a middle layer between buyer and seller so nobody is left exposed.

At the time, it felt unnecessary.

Now, it feels obvious.

Because the truth is, most modern scams don’t look fake.

They look almost right.

And that “almost” is where people lose everything.
