Okay .it happened to me too. Exactly same story and I resolved it . Try and get across to the landlord .although the agents may be trying to prevent you from reaching the landlord . But tell the agents you're willing to forgo the agency fee.. but the other monies are yours .I mean the rent and agreement . In my case I paid 1.4 and received 1.3.. tell them clearly that your life depends on your online business and that you can neither survive or feed staying there babaidan: please yes |

Can we know the chief of defence staff ? kinguwem: Late General Rabe (retd.) was chained with other victims in the bush. Beside him was his wife. This happened to a man that served the military & country for several years. We've had an incident in the past when a retd. Chief of Defence Staff was assassinated in his farm close to the FCT. Those that're having a field day today should think of tomorrow. Nobody knows what lies ahead of them. Those that don't believe we've a failed Nation should think twice. The people we think are our leaders, are not really in-charge of the country |

Do you want me to advise you on this . Yes or no? babaidan: Good evening everyone.
I need advice regarding a house I recently rented through an agent.
I have not stayed in the apartment for up to 3 days, but I have discovered a major problem that is seriously affecting my work and income. There is virtually no mobile network inside the house. MTN, Airtel, and Glo all fail indoors. I have tested multiple phones and networks in every room, including the parlour, kitchen, and bedrooms. The only way I can get a little signal is by opening the door or going outside. As I write this, my younger brother and friend are outside late at night trying to get network access. I also use several phones and a laptop for my work, so this issue has already affected my productivity and earnings. The building is relatively new, and this problem was never mentioned by the agent before I paid. Had I known that there was no usable network inside the apartment, I would have seriously reconsidered renting it because my work depends heavily on internet access.
My questions are:
If I report this to the landlord and agent and they refuse to refund my money or provide a solution, what are my options?
Can such a matter be reported to the police, or is it strictly a civil matter?
Does this situation give me any legal grounds to seek a refund or compensation, considering I discovered the issue almost immediately after moving in?
I would appreciate advice from anyone who has experienced something similar or has knowledge of tenancy and property matters in Nigeria.
Thank you |

How can we trigger a change in this hell hole called 9geria GJAO: One of the possibilities is that, the guy was used to replace another criminal in the prison for head count purpose. They cannot produce any file because the file carries another person's name. The guy is bearing another name inside prison. May God save our nation. |

Share a link to this story . Counterigbolies: Very soon if these countries say enough is enough and they fight back, they will start blackmailing them by calling them xenophobic.
Till tomorrow I stand with south Africa in anything they do cos I spent 3 good years there and even me I wasn't proud about what our brothers do there
In south Africa, our brothers have messed up virtually everywhere that many of us don't introduce ourselves as Nigerians and those at home who don't know anything will b quick to call them xenophobic.
An incident happened when I was there, a Nigerian was stranded and a south African family decided to accommodate him pending the time he will get something reasonable doing.
They told him to wash their cars, walk their children to school and do little garden tendering, believe u me this guy was low-key selling hard drugs under their roof that the method he deviced was to hide it inside those kids school bags so as not to b bursted at check points.
One day he forgot the hard drugs inside and the children got to school n taught it was powder and they played with it, unfortunately 3 kids died, investigation was done and the Nigerian was apprehended only for the police to release him the 3rd day after they were bribed
The south Africans found d man, killed it in the Nigerian settlement they found him n burnt all houses in the place.
The news came out here and Nigerians who don't know the story here started shouting xenophobia, I just shake head |
