About twice from them and as we speak one of my order is currently clearing at the airport. This other came within 7 days after I placed it. They deliver directly to your house. All my payments to temu is via bank transfer with paystack bank. Cuttycool: I have been seeing Temu App adverts showing several products. I heard they usually ask for ATM card details and other information to make purchases.
Who has successfully bought from Temu before? Is it safe? How long does it takes for goods to arrive from abroad. Are the goods seen on display the same as when it arrives?
Pls share your experiences. |

Crime › Lagos Police Arrests Killers Of Uber, Bolt Drivers, Lose Three Officers by Curious345(op): 10:06pm On Jan 11, 2025 |
The Lagos State Command has busted several gangs of armed robbers who targeted and killed private commercial vehicle operators, including Bolt, Uber, Lagride, and others in the state. The police also recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition from the arrested suspects during the period under review.
Members of these gangs were reportedly responsible for the killings of private commercial vehicle operators in different parts of Lagos.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Olanrewaju Ishola, revealed that the command prosecuted offenders for 2,176 offences in the last quarter of 2024 and early 2025. The police chief, who briefed the press on the command’s achievements during this period at the command headquarters in Ikeja, stated that three policemen lost their lives during this time.
Forty-three suspects were arrested for various criminal activities, including armed robbery, cultism, murder, child abuse, kidnapping, and illegal possession of firearms.
Ishola recounted how gangs of suspects contacted Uber and other private commercial vehicle operators to rob them of their vehicles and kill them.
He said, “On January 9, 2025, at about 12 am, a case of conspiracy, armed robbery, and murder was reported. One Emeka Akwara, 19, David Segun, 21, Samuel Ariori, 21, and Lukman Ariori, 19, ordered the services of Uber at Chevron in the Lekki area en route to Obalende.
“On getting to Obalende, in a lonely area, they robbed and killed the Uber driver by stabbing him multiple times in the neck. Unfortunately, they were unable to snatch the vehicle. With the intervention of good Nigerians within the environment, two suspects were immediately arrested and handed over to police operatives attached to Lion Building.
“Investigation further led to the arrest of the other two fleeing suspects of the dangerous gang in the Chevron area of Lagos.
“Another Uber driver was killed in similar circumstances. We investigated and brought to book one Edmond Julius Abdoulaye and one Saturday Okey in connection with the crime. The Toyota Camry was recovered and handed over to the family. The case was charged to court, but unfortunately, the driver was killed.
“Just two days ago, four young men flagged down a ride and killed the Uber driver. “I would like to tell Lagosians, especially people involved in this Uber thing, Taxify, Lagride, and all these services, to be wary of their passengers. If possible, don’t carry more than one passenger at a time and insist such a person is searched and made to sit in the front with you. This is our advice.
“We will summon all drivers in such activities to give them some security tips to avoid falling victim to these criminals.
“This is just the third incident reported or detected in three months. We don’t know how many more have happened. Such cases of brutality are increasing.
“Unfortunately, cases of murder through cultism and cult-related activities are also on the rise. As a responsive force, we always arrest perpetrators, but we don’t believe in jungle justice.
“On July 17, 2024, at about 17:00hrs, one Awalu and Emmanuel were brutally murdered at Ijora Badia by rival cult members.
“On October 15, 2024, based on intelligence, one Samuel Ojenuga, aged 22, a member of the Aye Confraternity, was arrested. He confessed to killing about 12 Eiye confraternity members at Orita School, Ijora Oloye Area of Lagos. His accomplice, Abdullahi Yusuf, also confessed to the killing of three persons named Big Sam, Emmanuel, and Okokobovbi at Railway Crossing in Ijora Badia, Lagos.
“On December 27, 2024, at 14 Idunsagbe Street, Lagos Island, information was received about a bag sighted on a rooftop at this address. Two AK-47 rifles, breach numbers 52573, 4004855, and 07003-853 K2 assault rifle, all without magazines and ammunition, were recovered.” https://thesun.ng/lagos-police-bust-killers-of-uber-bolt-drivers-lose-three-officers/?amp

Come to mutual funds .thank me sreamsense: I hate stock exchange investment on a personal note due to my previous experiences. Creating time to watch your stock on daily performance is problematic for me as it can cause distraction and high blood pressure especially when you are loosing or when the market remain stagnant for about a week. I prefer making my money and keeping my money in the bank and let them do whatever they like with my money so far I can get my money at any unannounced time.
At times when you have greedy broker like my previous experiences, tell them to sell at right time; they purposely delay with unwarranted excuses and sell at wrong time. Since I did away with stock exchange, I have rest of mind and makes lots of money for myself without minding stock investment in like manners of yours although my own then was local NSE |

Link me up with her . Just 2 smashing and she'll forget about you .. or better still you need to be furking her SAMKHAY: As I mentioned earlier, this is not who I am. I am not wayward, and I do not engage in inappropriate behaviors. Before my situation, I strongly condemned such actions whenever I heard or read about them, just as you have rebuked me in your comments. The incidents only involved kissing, and there was never any sexual intimacy. Thankfully, I was able to regain my senses, and it has not happened again since then, until she brought it up last night.
I have prayed about this and genuinely believe I have worked on myself. I consider myself mature and disciplined, but this still happened, and I am deeply ashamed and unhappy about it.
Thank you for your comments though! |

Many of you don't understand what is really going on. Now if the police goes about picking people for posting on social media, number one that violate your right to free speech, number two it's a threat to the first amendment, number three it's camouflaged plot to rid the population of opposition voices... you can relate that to the days of sanny abacha.
You remember what the police did in edo state before and during the last governorship election.. Your guess is as good as mine |

My advice to you is to freely engage in sexual activities with your wife sister and also make her happy in return.. I don't know what boundaries you're talking about SAMKHAY: No, I do not have any feelings for her, and I am not making excuses either. The challenge is that she does not have any other family members capable of supporting her if she leaves. And also considering the economic situation of the country right now. Asking her to move out would raise suspicion, and my wife would be so unhappy if her sister left because of what happened. I am hoping a positive development in her life will naturally create a reason for her to leave soon, unrelated to this situation.
I have no lingering feelings for her and I have dealt with those desires since the last incident. It would have been easier for me to have affairs outside, but I never did. In fact, I feel deeply ashamed and disgusted by my own actions. I just believe there is a better way to handle this matter without resorting to her leaving abruptly. |
Family › Re: I Had A Romance With My Wife's Sister by Curious345: 7:03am On Jan 11, 2025 |
SAMKHAY: I am actually sincere with every word I wrote there. We never had sex, it did not happen. Normally she was probably sent the by the family to test your potency. The wife may be aware her mom could be aware so they assumed that if you have intimacy with her and she gets pregnant then you have passed. No wife will live her sister in the house with her husband and travel and not expect the contrary. Sometimes if the elder sister cannot get pregnant they send the younger sister or the cousin a trusted cousin to get pregnant to her behalf. But when the husband cannot impregnate any of them then they assume there's a problem |
