You are perfectly right bro, GBPJPY taught me the same lesson, i was on+230 pips but was greedy to rich +300 before i bank it but uknow, i was only able to bank +150 pips afterall.....

to convince myself on taken such decision quickly ^{i use to ask my self this question "is my papa owns this market"} if the answer is no i quickly bank the pips i see and move on

like this market if opportunity present itself and you fail to bank it because of greediness,,, it will teach you lesson of your life

the GBP.USD case today,,, north move probabilities was high with the price candle,,,yes over 100pips was achieved up to the time of news release at 10.30am,,,,,if i took the trade i would surely have moved my SL to safe-heaven or close at 100pips manually before the news...

who ever BUY the pair and held on to the news ^{"except swing trader"} without any action must have learn new thing today

Seems Tom guy is a sucker in the forex world.
Reason I see it that he is either a born quitter or a greedy entity.
He looks at the market is a game, but I do understand most of us here treats it as a business /investment.
We are all aware of the risk before we even ventured in it, as every business comes with a risk and if you believe forex is a get rich quick scheme, I believe you are sadly mistaken. If you invest in stock and bonds, even the beloved T billz can give you 70% ROI. But you believe you could recover all of you years compounded losses with your current capital. Well unless you are really good af or bloody stupid af.
But anyway It's none of business though.
I'm no party to your crusade, I don't intend buying what you are selling. It's the like of you that uses fertilizer of those poor birds and start selling them in 2 weeks.

What many of you don't understand is that anybody (including you) can control the market if you have the money. It is all about who holds the cash and how the person chooses to spend the cash.

Anyone with the right amount of money can dictate the closing price of just about any stock (of course within the day's limits). It doesn't always have to be the market makers or some cabal somewhere inside NSE. Independent individuals making their own decisions have as much power as any other person. I have seen my own 800million naira transactions move the price of a stock right before my very eyes. No magomago.

you can't be trading any of this pair EUR.AUD,, GBP.AUD,,,EUR.NZD ,,,,GBP.NZD with 50pips SL and expect good result. though you might be lucky something but very sure you will be wrong most of the time.

all my trading pair will fall but the fall we are seeing now is not the real fall.... the pair would likely move up first to form the pattern before the real fall.

so am willing to buy 1st and sell later when the pattern form.
