Big lie, There was a interview this failure call Prof Mahmood Yakubu granted in November 2022 where he categorically said a section of the media said INEC want to jettison the BVAS and electronic transmission. The interview was so clear he said result will be transmitted and immediately for public view, he reiterate same when he went to Chattam house, on Friday Rufai ask if they will give excuse and several occassion INEC gave assurance.

After collecting Billions of naira to conduct the most expensive election they now decided to JETTISON the technology they were suppose to use as promised and resort to manual process taking us backward. Plz what is difficult in automating an electoral process, Something KENYA did and did perfectly well. Please let stop glorying failure so that our country can move forward

What happened to all the thunder you have been sending to Buhari since 2015? And the one you have been sending to Tinubu since 2015 because of his role to send PDP away? Don't you ever think that thunder is getting back to sender? The one kanu sent to Buhari got landed on Ipob/esn members who are now living in the bushes as wild animals while Buhari keep enjoying himself, his children married to billionaires and their stories changed for better. Ipob/esn that cursed Buhari that he would die had died before him. The same thunder landed on kanu that is been in castrated and treated like animal. Effect of thunder he sent then has landed on his ear and he is there regretting his life. Continue sending thunder or curses and when they land on your future, you will blaming Buhari, Tinubu. You better look for your common sense where you hanged it

You that is a professor but so daft. Territory indeed. Your papa territory abi? Lmao. Every Nigerian and state has equal rights in Nigeria. No Special Status. Abuja had a Minister dafty who is appointed by the President. He acts as assistant to the President because essentially the President this the Governor of Abuja. Abuja is the 37th state in Nigeria. It is just called the FCT to show it is the capital. Nothing more! Abuja is not more special than Ebonyi apoda.
lol
governor of Abuja
that's why the constitution made it clear here.
how can you govern where dem no want you ?

Section 299 of the constitution says that for the purpose of interpretation of the Constitution, the FCT is regarded as a State.

The implication is that:

The FCT is a State but given a name.

Since the FCT is given a name by the drafts men, it won't be right to say 37 states.

However, the name is 36 States and the FCT. It simply means 37 states.

The court has affirmed that position and the constitution is clear.
keep deceiving yourself
a state the president can appoint an administrator in a democracy settings ?

Abuja is a State like any other in Nigeria. Your Chat GPT does not know that. Lmao. Abuja does not have any special status other than it is the capital. Nothing special. Carry your ChatGPT for reprogramming and English lesson.
shatap
Abuja does not have an elected governor but an administrator appointed by president.
for an entity to be termed as a state in a democracy settings it must have an elected administrator.
so this makes Abuja a non state but a territory under FG.
that's why constitution stated that for a president to have that power to appoint an administrator he must meet the 25% votes.
it signifies that you're partially accepted by those occupying the place.

don't be a gross illiterate just to suit your narrative.

pipnator00:
Question: What does the law say about not winning up to 25% of the vote in FCT in Nigeria presidential election

Interpretation: According to the Nigerian Constitution, a presidential candidate must win both a majority of the total votes cast in the election and at least 25% of the votes in at least two-thirds of Nigeria's 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to be elected as President of Nigeria.

If a presidential candidate does not win up to 25% of the vote in the FCT, but meets the other requirements, they will not be eligible to become the President of Nigeria. The same applies if they do not meet the requirement of winning at least 25% of the vote in at least two-thirds of Nigeria's 36 states.
the constitution is simple and straightforward
leave Apc bastards to be interpreting it to suit them.

if FCT is regarded as a state it won't be specified there.

This is a lie from pit of hell! Buhari lost both FCT and Lagos to PDP in 2019 and yet he won! You can only deceive your gullible ones but not intelligent people.
You're bitterred by the resounding victory of the Muslim-Muslim ticket which you sworn to stop.
But Muslims are not your mates in Nigeria! The character of Christians in states where they have majority like plateau, Benue, SE and SS shows they will deny Muslims even VP position if they have that majority advantage nationally.
Hahahahaha

PoliticsRe: 25% In FCT Not A Requirement To Emerge President – Falana by cursedAbiola(f): 12:31pm On Feb 28, 2023
Fayos1:
Think about it from this angle.
Assume a very well loved candidate from FCT decided to run for president.
Even if he woefully lost the total election, he will most likely win the FCT with others not getting 25% just as OBI won Enugu.
Do you think INEC will deny the overall winner just because of FCT
then their will be a re-run which a simple majority will now win the election.
the constitution is clear here.
you can't appoint an administrator where you're rejected because that will no longer be democracy.
that's why the constitution was clear on that.
