This happened to me some years back when I was still in school, I got a buyer for my phone online who lived in another city from me and we agreed on a price which is to be paid in two parts because of trust issues on both sides, 70% when I send and he will balance the 30% when he gets the phone and check it. On the day I went to send it at the park, he spoke with the driver who checked it and confirmed the phone inside the carton( he did all this while we are on call and phone was on speaker) he sent the 70% as agreed but trouble started when he went to collect the phone and discovered it was an empty carton only saw the receipt and charger I put there. He reported to the police and I was summoned but I didn’t show up and this was where I made a great mistake. I didn’t show up because he told me he was beaten at the park by the drivers and the drivers said they were waiting for me to show up that that’s how we use to put them drivers into trouble. This is someone I have never met in my life and I was scared not to be lynch by the drivers, I was traveled and picked up by the police and I was made to pay twice the sum we agreed. I learnt a great lesson there that no matter what would happen I should have been there to clear myself because even the driver confirmed on call that it was there and it was the driver that sealed the package before handling it over to another driver who drove the bus to the other state of the guy. The two drivers denied knowing anything about it and everyone put it all on me because I didn’t show up when I should.

My wife was offered an admission last year October and her resumption was scheduled to be September, January and May but she was pregnant then with our first son which she had late last year and now we are thinking of continuing with the process, I’m worried if the application could still be on and what’s her chances of approval since I believe she now has strong ties with her country back home(family and business) which in my little opinion should make her visa application accepted….i would appreciate genuine contributions as we are pulling in big resources to make this work

My neighbor who is also a chatmate confided in me about his plan for relocation to a city. Things has been a little rough for him and I sometimes even have to bail him out with stipends, he is in his 2month of learning a new skill/handwork and his wife too has fashion business that is down at the moment.
