You have a bad turbo. Change turbo. My advise, order from the states it will cost just $500. Getting in lagos will cost 150k. Cheers

Good day all, can someone help me with this .

i've been driving my 2006 Infiniti fx 35 for the past 5years and suddenly after changing my gearbox oil with the original nissan J fuild, i observed the Drive sign "D" on the dashboard went blank, "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" light came on and my throttling reduced but the engine keeps running. i parked and put the ignition OFF, it refuses to start when i wanted to put on the ignition, the drive D sign goes off, after like 10mins with many trys, it came ON and the engine starts and d car drives normal. this only happens when i'm on a high speed like 120/130km/h.
I scanned the car with my OBD2 device and i saw a U1000 error code.

anybody with a solution, cos i was told its not a gearbox problem.

The major fault with a FX35 are the bubbles on the dashboard due to heat which is common to most black interiors and also the rubber bushing of the control arm gets broken(can be changed) which gives a cracking noise when u bump into a pot-hole.

FX35 is a lovely beast to drive especially if u are a lover of fast cars (speed kills tho). for the past 4yrs i've been driving my 2006 FX35, no regrets at all buying the monster. Ensure u do ur regular servicing as at wen due.

parts are expensive, no doubt abt dat, but come on, if u can afford to buy the monster then u can afford the parts and also to fuel it .

electrical problem, No serious one except my powered seat stopped working which can be fixed.

you can go for FX35 or FX37/FX50 if u want a more recent technology. The beast is lovely.
