This second pregnancy, people don't call me BRT because I was already big before the pregnancy but didn't add much pregnancy weight as the first.

I'm having a VBAC so I don't want a big baby. But the bump is still big. I guess is the healthy lifestyle you maintain in pregnancy.

First Timer, just thought to share my experience as I am very distraught ATM . I lost my first baby last Saturday 1st Feb at 21 weeks.

It started out like any other day the Thursday before . I went to the office , bought a few food stuff on my way home n then went home cooked , served my husband and then we got intimate .

Few hours later I had re occurring cramps (I have growing fibroids which isn't in the uretus) I assumed that was what caused the cramps but if was persistent from midnight to 6am my husband insisted we went to the hospital which we did and I found out I was contracting .

The Gynae gave me some injections n placed me on drip and the contractions continued and eventually stopped. On Friday morning I noticed I was bleeding non stop I asked for the gynaecologist and was told he doesn't work on weekends that he has travelled to visit his family (I was surprised Cz I was his patient and it was an emergency so expected him to atleast stay Friday to monitor me ) .

In the afternoon on Friday , I noticed my gestational sac hanging out of my vagina (that is the sac that holds the amniotic fluid and baby ) I was screaming in tears n shock . I was supposed to have my baby in the us so I called my Us doctor who insisted they carry out an emergency cerclage (stitching of the cervix) but the gynae was unavailable .

I asked to be transferred to another hospital n they said their ambulance was at their ikeja office , wow I was dumb founded Cz I couldn't stand n needed to be in laying position due to the sac sticking out. After some time the sac went back in . I kept on praying n crying as this was our first child.

I asked if they had incubator just incase the baby comes out they said no.

After much back n forth he sent a replacement gynae from their ikeja branch (I was in ikoyi branch ) who arrived at 8pm who advised that nothing could be done but observe and pray and he left back to ikeja branch instead of staying with me as I was an emergency patient.

I bled all night , my baby was a fighter his heart beat was still on functioning well all through the distress (every time I did scan in the past , drs always commented of how active my son was)

On Saturday morning I woke up to pee and felt like a balloon burst from inside me my water broke. Immediately called the nurses who checked the heart beat n the baby's heart rate was still perfect.

I went to the delivery room , my son head popped out he was still moving as he came out inside the sac after 5 mins he passed. Then the torture began . They general practitioner n nurses spent 2-3 hrs trying to remove the placenta , used all sort to expand my uterus - forcep, hands , clamps I was in excruciating pain . All this while the gynae n replacement gynae were not available .

They finally got the placenta out n I had to be treated with lots of antibiotics as I was feverish n having short breaths so they gave me that incase of any infection .

Been crying all through , the gynae finally graced us with his presence on Monday night imagine the loss was on sat(no calls or nothing the whole weekend) .

My husband and I asked him for reason for the pre term labour he couldn't give us a specific reason . Just said stress , sex we had a night before or anything .

Let me just stop here ,I am recovering and I pray no one ever experience such treatment as I feel like this could have been controlled and the loss was due to negligence .

So sorry mama, the Lord will make you laugh very soon and you will forget all the pains you've gone through.
Try to get another gynaecologist and work with him or her to prevent future occurrence.

I have been battling tooth pain for some days now Very bad something i dont take drugs like that except my routine drugs, but I had to take paracetamol for the first time in this pregnancy because of the pain some days back. The pain is still very much there, Oluwa wetin dey occur

Sorry about the pain mama, I think is part of the package.
Just brush often and can also gaggle warm water but not sure if you can add pinch of salt.

It will go when you least expect.

My baby gave birth to a bouncing baby girl around noon today

My forever baby is doing okay and our new team member (baby girl) also doing great!

Main labor started around 9 to 10 after achieving 10cm dilation. Took 2 to 3 hours to bring our bundle of joy to this earth.

edd was supposed to be either 5th or 15th, she came on her own terms!

Ah yes o, I moved the date by a week( earliest possible time) but will I be healed by 1 week to take d exams? I’m not even able to read sef....I’m Hopin for sharp sharp one week healing or else, OYO is my case. Tnx for checking on me n safe delivery to you

Amen to your prayers... You just need people around you, you will be able to walk but might feel dizzy if it's a far distance. Just pray, God will strengthen you. Let them know your case in school.

It will be easy for you.

Hi teamie, waddling is at it's peak. How about your exams? Have you tried talking to your doctor on birthing your baby earlier so you will be able to write the exams.

Teamie sorry,the back pain I feel every night now is not a joke,sleeping on my sides,rolling out of bed to urinate etc may God see all February mama all through.

No ma, until you are close to your due date.

Some hospitals have it every two weeks while some is once a month. The visit depends on how close you are to your due date.

Funny enough was lying on my left, woke up to ease myself and couldn't get up from bed, it was that bad
I try not to store urine cause I find it difficult to walk when I do.
I really don't know what caused the pain, but I feel okay now. Thanks teamie

You're welcomed teamie. I usually feel a lot of pain when I sleep on my right side. To urinate now is war, while urinating I feel vagina pain and back pain at the same time. I don't even want to go to clinic because doctor have asked me to do pelvimetry and I don't want to do the xray, I just want to fall into labour with sharp delivery.
God please, make it easy for us all.

Sorry about the pains teamie. Maybe you should try sleeping on your left side and visit the toilet once you feel like, don't let the urine store. You can also support yourself properly with pillow. It will surely end in praise.

Team February, how is waddling? Thanks to you all for holding your bombom and being loyal to your team despite the long 2 months called January.

Few hours left for our back to back BA. The Lord will see us through and make the journey end in praise. We won't record any evil. We commit ourselves, the baby, our family and every delivery process to God's hands. It will surely end with praise.

@Joyfulmama thank God for seeing you and your team mate through the month of January. You can handover those that are yet to put to bed to us, we will care for them.

To all mama's please always pray and keep praying. It's only God that can help in this pregnancy journey and He will never forsake anyone. Especially the GTC mama's February is your month of BFP.

I bring to this house good tidings! To the glory of the most high God, My triplets have made their grand entrance. EDD - 14th March. DOB - 29th January.
It's 2 BBBs & 1 BBG.
BS:
It was a stress free pregnancy. No sickness, no case of emergency etc. Even at my last antenatal visit (ie) @ 33wks, my doctor told me that he is so surprised that with triplets pregnancy I was still able to come from home without issues. He said that all the triplets pregnancy he has managed before now are always admitted in the hospital btw wk 27 & 30 because of one issue or another.
My colleagues as well talks abt my flexibility. Everyone keeps admiring my flexibility.
The nurses also keeps praising my agility.
So I was scheduled for elective CS on 29th of Jan at exactly 34wks. Was taken to the theatre @ 8 am for the surgery. Regional anesthesia was administered two times but all to no effect. Then the anesthesiologist decided to administer the general anesthesia. Na so una sister was knocked out only to woke up hearing the screams of her triplets trying to shut down the hospital.
My joy knows no bound as DH's face was covered with tears of joy. We are all in good & perfect conditions.
It's a thing of joy having four babies in two pregnancy journey. It's a complete family with 2 boys & 2 girls offsprings.
Boots hung up for all the GTC mums out there. My testimony is infectious & will infect all GTC mums.
My able march cappo @ Mzleemah & all my march teamies, na so una sister take port to January ooooo.
BA/BS submitted.

Can't wait for 1st or 2nd Feb because I have to put to bed safely then. This daily contractions is endless, I don't know why but I've been praying to hold on till Feb and just open the floor of supernatural childbirth to my fellow teamie.
